In today's dispatches, we have Sam Sewell appropriately writing for Pravda, with some birther stars in the comments to boot. Philip Berg promply waxes lyrical about Sewell. For a change, we have some open and overt racism among the birtherstani. Dr. Orly is still delusional. The Pest and eFail gives Walter Fitzpatrick a forum to bitch about the military justice system, allowing him to vent about the two worms that eat his brain. Off Shore Jobs Bob has a Brand New Spiffy Idea for the Fantasy Tiddlywinks League. And once again the court of appeals tells a birther "no".
I would like to clarify something about my last dispatches though.
I did not intend to imply that Yosef Taitz had anything to do with a fake birth certificate or anything else about that rumour. Being as said rumour came from someone with even less credibility than Dr. Orly (i,e, Larry Sinclair), I tend to take it with a carton of Morton's iodized. Nor am I taking sides in the birtherstani civil war, as my usual response to Berg and Dr. Orly is "a plague on both your homes". The amusing part for me is Dr. Orly trying very hard to hide the fact that the majority of her cases for a long time were word-for-word copies of Philip Berg's cases.
17 September - Unlicensed "pastoral counselor" Sam Sewell finds a journalistic forum worthy of his propaganda talents - namely that third leg of the birther's tripod, right after World Nut Daily and the Globe Magazine.
Pravda OnLine.
The article itself is the usual rehashed and warmed over birther tripe, written in Sam Sewell's usually breathlessly arrogant style, and his catchphrase of "OMG".
Seems like he's been claiming the "OMG" moment for a long, long, long, long time now, hasn't he??
He also uses his background as an unlicenced "pastoral therapist" to make a "psychological evaluation" that is, of course, completely bogus and distorted by his own hatred and bias against Obama.
"Much has been written about AKA OBAMA's behavior that reminds mental health experts and others of NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder.)"
Much has been written by birthers on the subject, yes.
"A useful tool in evaluating things that are not known with certainty is Occam's razor. When multiple competing hypotheses are equal in other respects, the principle recommends selecting the hypothesis that introduces the fewest assumptions and postulates the fewest entities. It is in this sense that Occam's razor is usually understood. I condense this to the simple question: what is most likely? In our discussion of the documents which AKA has hidden, most of this article is an examination of which explanation is most likely.
For example, which is most likely;
(a) AKA OBAMA is hiding documents that are innocuous?
(b) AKA OBAMA is hiding documents that are damaging?"
Actually a better use of the Occam's razor theory is to apply it towards the entire birther movement. When you see official documents and verifiable evidence to support the claim that Obama was born in Hawaii, backed by 200+ years of US legal codes and US legal decisions confirming that "Natural Born Citizen" means "a citizen from birth, either having been born in the US or born overseas to a US citizen parent or parents", vs the birtherstani collection of unverified claims, outright lies, and increasingly complex conspiracy theories, then Occam's razor says that the hypothesis that introduces the fewest assumptions and postulates the fewest entities is that Obama was born in the United States and is a Natural Born US citizen.
Sam Sewell tries to use Occam's Razor to chose between two falsehoods, based on the faulty notion that Obama is hiding something.
