Dispatches from Birtherstan - 21-22 December 2010

A short dispatches, as the holidays gear up and the Lakin case dies down. OpEd News issues a challenge to the Birtherstani, while "Rant-Farm" holds Joseph Farah of World Nut Daily responsible for Lakin and all the other birther excesses. And speaking of birther excesses, Neil Turner uses the Pest and eFail to support his call for open rebellion and a Constitution-destroying military coup. Not to mention his call to use fake trials like Mannings as springboards for militia groups to carry out arrests and sentences from said fake juries.

Charming batch of seditionists and traitors, eh?

20 December - At OpEd News, a challenge to the birtherstani.

"LTC Lakin wanted more proof before he got on a plane, and he publicly refused to follow his orders to do so until he got that proof. I don't know if he expected Obama to call up The Doctor and use his TARDIS to whip Lakin back to the moment the President was born, in Hawai'i, or whatever, but somehow I wonder if even that would have been enough."

Just dump him off on Skaro and be done with it.

"So Lakin got a questionable dogbite lawyer -- Paul Rolf "Otis" Jensen -- to help him publicize his mutiny. And numerous persons -- fellow Birthers, some more well-known than others -- cheered him on for doing so.

I'm talking about people like:

* Alan Keyes, who you may remember carpet-bagged to Illinois to run against Barack Obama when he ran for the Senate, and has been decrying him as the devil's hand on Earth ever since.

* Orly Taitz, the Birther Queen, who has made a mockery of California's bar standards in her quixotic quest to unseat the President by way of the legal system.

* Joseph Farah, publisher of World Net Daily, who claims he's not a Birther, but also takes credit for turning it into a major issue.

* Rev. James Manning, Pastor of ATLAH in Harlem, who likes to call Obama a "long legged mack daddy" when he pounds his pulpit.

And various and sundry other people, who took up Lakin's cause with total glee."

Glee is one word. They're looking for their "Great White Hope" to get the scary darkie out of the WHITE House after all, and are willing to latch on anything to do it.

"But I am angry -- very !&*#ing angry -- at a number of people who created the atmosphere of incredulity that clearly poisoned this otherwise-intelligent man's ability to tell fact from fantasy. While the decision to act on what he "learned" from them was his own, and therefore his own fault, these people bear no small responsibility to having helped turn him into a victim of his own gullibility.

Birthers, I accuse you.

Terry Lakin is in jail tonight because of you .

A mother and child are going to spend this Christmas apart from the man they love because of you.

His personal and economic future is in jeopardy because of you. "

A-freaking-men! If the birthers want to see who caused Lakin to throw his career and freedom away, they need to take a good long look at themselves in a mirror.

Piity they won't do it.

21 December - At the Pest and eFail, Neil Turner chimes in about Lakin.

"WHY WOULD THE U.S. MILITARY KNOWINGLY SUPPORT A USURPER?"

They're not. Next?

"LTC Lakin should have been found Not Guilty by reason of ‘NON-INSANITY’, for it would be insanity to follow the orders of a CIC who has not yet proven that he can give anything but unlawful orders!

Until Obama does – which We The People know that he cannot – then anyone who follows any orders from this Usurper-in-Chief (thank you, Maureen Dowd of The New York Times) is, in fact, complicit in aiding and abetting Obama’s acts of Treason. This would include JAG Judge Col. Denise R. Lind and her superiors up through Major General Carla G. Hawley-Bowland, Major General Karl R. Horst, and the Army Chief of Staff, General George W. Casey, Jr."

Ah, they're coming up with an "enemies of the state/party" list. Stalin would be so proud.

Since the entire Congress, the JCS, the SCOTUS, the DOJ, and Law Enforcement are all complicit in this ultimate act of treason, and

Ah, so resuming the Fantasy Tiddlywinks League and issue more "presentments" without any sort of legal backing or justification.

When these ‘easy-to-conclude’ indictments go unanswered by the now-complicit Judiciary and Law Enforcement, the People should then form 9th and 10th Amendment Citizens Court Trials (Dr. James David Manning of ATLAH.org has paved the way with the CIA COLUMBIA OBAMA Sedition & Treason TRIAL – see www.CRS-Reports.org for the verdicts and transcripts) and issue actionable Guilty Verdicts and Sentencing."

Finally, when the Citizens Court Trial verdicts and sentences are ignored by the corrupt law enforcement and the judiciary, use the already formed Citizens’ Militias to carry out the arrests and sentencing. So where in the US Constitution does it allow for the military to unseat the civilian government and allow for military rule??

21 December - "Rant-Farm" takes Farah to task for World Nut Daily's prodding of Lakin and the other birtherstani.

"...you rightly describe Lakin as "an innocent lamb led willingly to slaughter." But nowhere in your stirring indictment of his trial and his woes do I see you truly name the ones who did the leading. Nowhere do I see you identify the truly guilty party, here

Put Neil Turner up at the top of that scumbag list - just for his "there will be blood" asinine seditious threat alone. I have no doubt that they will eventually incite a few of their unhinged followers to action...but as always, they will be quickly apprehended or otherwise smacked down. Hopefully, before innocents are harmed.

On a positive note, it is good to see the Op Ed posting and the Rant-Farm posting here. It is about time that reasonable people get angry and openly point the finger at the manipulative con artists behind this nonsense rabble rousing.

Do you really think any of them, no matter how crazy they are, would dare try arrest an Army officer like Col. Lind? They would probably try to go up against the local police, but even they are not so stupid as to openly attack the military. What are they going to do, march armed into Ft. Meade and try to do a "citizen's arrest"? Hardly.

What does the Constitution say about these militias he wants to use? "The Congress shall have the Power ... To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;"

So one of the main purposes of the militia is to "suppress insurrections" - an insurrection being "the act or an instance of rebelling against a government in power or the civil authorities".

And they want to use the militia as the driving force of an insurrection... exactly 180-degrees opposite of what the Constitution says. Seems like they don't like the Constitution so much after all, does it.
