The big news of the day, however, is during the reading of the Constitution stunt the new Congress was doing, a birther, Tea Partier, and religious nutcase disrupted the "Article II, Section 1 portion of the Constituion, earning her an escort out of the Congressional Gallery and an arrest.

3 January - You have to wonder if there's a conspiracy World Nut Daily won't cover. Even very old ones.
"Adding fluoride to city water systems, hailed by the Centers for Disease Control as "one of 10 great public health achievements of the 20th century," actually becomes an IQ-killer for children, according to a new report.
A Chinese study has been reported by the Fluoride Action Network that found a startling difference between children in two cities with significantly different levels of fluoride in their water systems.
The study involved 512 children between 8 to 13 years old in two Chinese villages that were about 50 miles apart. Wamaio had 2.47 milligrams per liter of fluoride and the village of Xinhuai had 0.36 milligrams per liter of fluoride.
The test showed the city with the higher fluoride had children with IQ scores 5-10 points lower.
The reports said the study rated 28 percent of the children in the low-fluoride town of Xinhuai as "bright, normal or higher intelligence," while only 8 percent in the high-fluoride Wamaio were in that category."
It then goes on to say:
"St. Lawrence University Chemistry Professor and environmental activist Paul Connett says the two towns studied were remarkably similar in demographics and infrastructure. And he said the Chinese study is only the latest in a long list of studies that have produced alarmingly similar results.
"This is the 24th study which has found a relationship between fluoride exposure and lowered IQ. They come from China, India, Iran and Mexico," Connett stated."
What World Nut Daily fails to note, BTW, is that Paul Connett is the Director and one of the founders of the "Fluoride Action Network"
What's even funnier is on 22 July 2010, World Nut Daily denounced Connett and others like him.
"Five years ago, the leading dental researcher at Australia's Adelaide University decried the misinterpretation of Australian research into tooth decay. Conspiracy theorists such as Paul Connett (of the quack-group "Fluoride Action Network") were, you see, falsely claiming that the Australians' work had shown no benefit from water fluoridation.
"Dr Connett misrepresents the study as an analysis of the benefits of water fluoridation, which it was not," John Spencer explained. "[Connett] also misinterprets the study's indirect evidence on the benefits of water fluoridation on decay. ... [O]ur work has repeatedly found support for the benefits of water fluoridation."
3 January - Put on the hipboots, it's gonna get deep. CEL3 files an ex parte application in his lawsuit against the family Taitz.

However, on Monday, December 27,2010, the very day that Plaintiffs response was due, Orly Taitz acting in propia persona, without reference to her attorneys' Pallares, flled her own Notice of Joinder with regard to herself, Orly Taitz, Inc., Defend our Freedoms Foudation, Appealing Dentistry, and the Law Office of Orly Taitz.
Plaintiff is thus faced with the awkward position of having retained an attorney who has not yet appeared in the case, and not being exactly certain how to deal with Dr. Orly Taitz' dual joinder where she, like the Plaintiff, has flled a document pro selin propia persona, without reference to her attorney, except that in her case she did so 9-12 days after her attorney had appeared."
The amazing thing here is not that Dr. Orly screwed up, but that there seems to be another attorney representing her. I didn't think her ego would allow it, unless her husband insisted.
"Finally, Plaintiff submits to the Court and will show that he has been suffering, with increasing severity ever since late October 2010, from atrial flutter-tachycardia, even though this condition was supposedly treated and cured by dual magnetic electro-myo-cardial ablations performed at Seton Heart Center in Austin, Texas 2006, which procedures had to be repeated recently in Maryland in December 2010."

Orly was VERY clear about all of this."
Would be interesting if it was found that he was bankrolling her jihad against Obama too.
"Her primary obligation was to please and conform to her husband's will, except that her husband had no interest in her as a "wife" and constantly berated and insulted her and belittled her."
Something easy to do where Dr. Orly is concerned, though I suspect she gave back just as good as she got. (though if true, it shows what a poor excuse for a man he is - that type of abuse is never justified by either side)

On which side?? Marriage to Orly Taitz would have caused many people to skydive without a parachute early on.

5 January - Looks like Huff remains free on bond.
"A federal judge on Tuesday disagreed with prosecutors who wanted bond revoked for a Georgia militiaman awaiting trial on charges of carrying an AK-47 into East Tennessee after allegedly threatening a possible courthouse takeover.
Darren Wesley Huff of Dallas, Ga., declined comment other than a snarled insult to a reporter outside the hearing after U.S. Magistrate Bruce Guyton said there was no reason to revoke Huff's bond or return him to electronic monitoring.
Guyton also delayed Huff's trial, setting back the scheduled start from Jan. 10 to April 12. A conviction on the charges, including carrying a firearm in interstate commerce with an intent of using it in a civil disorder, carries a maximum possible penalty of 10 years in prison.
Huff, 41, is accused in court documents of taking an AK-47 and ammunition across the state line in April 2009 after threatening to take over the Monroe County Courthouse in East Tennessee and arrest certain officials.
Huff in December pleaded guilty to a state charge of disrupting a meeting. A state co-defendant, Walter Fitzpatrick III of Sweetwater was convicted of state charges and was sentenced to 60 days in jail.
The men contend President Barack Obama should be removed from office because he is not a U.S. citizen and Assistant U.S. Attorney Will Mackie said Tuesday that Huff had intended to "exercise citizens arrest warrants on people up to the president."
5 January - And "Birther Report" comes up with a new theory on Obama, courtesy of Jack Cashill of the American Stinker.
At about 15:00 Cashill comes up with the theory that Obama's "real" father is......JIMI HENDRIX!!!!

6 January - You know how Carl Swensson likes to egg people on into breaking the law? Well, Monroe County may have just said "enough". At the Pest and eFail....
"An eyewitness to the arrest of Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III on April 1, 2010 in Madisonville, TN, Mr. Carl Swensson, was arrested on January 4, 2011 after attending a bond hearing in Knoxville, TN for Darren Huff stemming from federal firearms charges brought against Huff last April."
Oh really?
"It also claimed that the Oath Keepers organization to which Huff allegedly belongs has been named by the Southern Poverty Law Center as “an extremist anti-government group.” The SPLC appears to be supplying information to the Department of Homeland Security, and Oath Keepers has reported that the SPLC is actually a part of DHS."

and this part is.....interesting (bold face mine)
"As soon as the court was adjourned, I got no further than the doorway as I was opening it up to leave when the federal marshals came and asked me who I was. I told them, and they escorted me into the little room right off of the main courtroom door and put me under arrest by showing me the “Capias and Bond” document. They did not read me any Miranda rights. They did put handcuffs on me, at which point I gave my keys and wallet to my friend Jim, because I suspected that they might have done this, so I wanted to make sure that my vehicle could be driven and that Monroe County didn’t have access to my wallet with my bond money in there."
It sounds like Swensson knew he was going to be arrested if he went to Huff's hearing.
6 January - Swensson only has this to say on his blog.
"Monroe County (TN) Sheriffs arrested me, Carl Swensson, on Jan. 4, 2011 on charges of (New Bill) Riot: Disrupting Meeting or Procession,
Retaliation for past action. (sure would like to know what rule of man retaliation is)"
6 January - And so it begins.....
"An individual who believes President Obama wasn't born in the United States interrupted a House reading Thursday of the U.S. Constitution.
Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.) tweeted from the House floor that a "birther" had interrupted the Constitution reading that's been taking place.
Himes tweeted:
First interruption of the reading from the Gallery. By a birther, screaming about Obama. Unintended consequences....
The outburst in the gallery reportedly came during a reading of the section in the Constitution requiring that presidents be naturally born U.S. citizens in order to be eligible for that office. Birthers accuse Obama of not having been born in the U.S., despite the release of his birth certificate showing that he was born in Hawaii."

"While Reps were reading the portion of the Constitution covering presidential eligibility ("natural born citizen", a feral birther disrupted the proceedings from the Gallery, yelling "except obama, except obama. Help us Jesus."
6 January - And Politico has some more info about the birther in the House gallery. Who, it seems, was arrested.
"A woman was arrested in the House gallery Thursday after interrupting a reading of the Constitution by yelling out her belief that President Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States.
When Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) read the part of Article II, Section 1 mandating that only a "natural-born citizen" may be president, the woman, seated in the front row of the public gallery, screamed "Except Obama, except Obama. Help us Jesus."
An officer removed her from the gallery as she yelled out "My name is Theresa."
"You're under arrest," the officer could be heard telling her as he led her through double doors at the back of the chamber."
"Theresa"? Could it be Theresa Cao, who attended the Lakin court-martial??
6 January - David Weigel reports that, yes indeed, it was Theresa Cao.
"UPDATE: I'm told that the woman who made the disruption was Theresa Cao, a birther activist and supporter of court-martialed birther Lt. Col. Terry Lakin. On December 16, she told WorldNetDaily that she was "taking his message to the White House and Congress." She maintains a blog here and a Facebook page here."
6 January - The Daily Caller also reports on Cao's disruption.
"The incident occurred while Democratic New Jersey Rep. Frank Pallone was reading Article Two, Section 1 of the Constitution, which explains the citizenship requirements for U.S. president, on the House floor. The section states: “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
Detained by Capitol Hill authorities, the alleged Constitution interrupter said her name was Teresa Cao and asked The Daily Caller to have someone contact “World Net Daily.” She also told TheDC that that she did not believe that Obama is a natural born citizen.
Cao was featured in a WND profile in March of 2010, which described her as an extreme evangelist Christian who has been “positioning herself in front of the White House gates almost daily for more than two years…”
6 January - World Nut Daily gives their - pretty quick - spin on Cao's distruption.
"It was almost a year ago when she was profiled in WND as a lone woman evangelist delivering the message that "heaven is offering a 'bailout' far greater than dollars."
At the time, Cao told WND, "I have a standard location literally right in front of the White House" – encouraging people to follow the Bible to see God's miracles on earth and its companion warning of punishment for those who disobey.
The message applies not only to individuals but to nations, she believes.
"Most Americans really are asleep concerning what's taking place," she said then. "People are willing to hand over their God-given rights and the Constitution to the prevailing wicked forces."

6 January - Talking Points Memo Muckraker also reports on Cao's outburst.
"An apparent member of the birther movement seated in the gallery of the House of Representatives on Thursday interrupted a reading of the Constitution. The woman yelled out "Except Obama, except Obama, help us Jesus!" as Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) read the "natural born citizen" clause of the Constitution.
The woman screamed out from the House Gallery as Pallone read Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution, which reads that "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."
Members of the birther movement contend that President Barack Obama was born in Kenya and is not eligible for the office.
The Sergeant at Arms was called in, as they are in charge of removing those creating a disturbance on the House floor. An officer told the woman she was under arrest and removed her from the gallery as she yelled out "My name is Theresa," Politico reported.
Idaho Rep. Mike Simpson (R) banged the gavel to bring the House back to order."
6 January - And Speaker of the House John Boehner comments on Cao's outburst.
"Williams: I'm curious as to how much responsibility you feel specifically because of something that happened this morning. During the reading of the Constitution, Congressman Frank Pallone of New Jersey, was reading a portion of the document, interrupted by someone who heckled from within the chamber. It was to express doubt over the president's American citizenship. Provided you believe the president is an American citizen, you've got 12 members co-sponsoring legislation that does about the same thing, it expresses doubt. Would you be willing to say, "This is a distraction, I've looked at it to my satisfaction. Let's move on"?
Boehner: The state of Hawaii has said that President Obama was born there. That's good enough for me."
But when it comes to cracking the whip on any of his fellow Republicans who might be playing flirty birther games??
"Williams: Would you be willing to say that message to the 12 members in your caucus who seem to either believe otherwise or are willing to express doubt and have co-sponsored legislation?
Boehner: Brian, when you come to the Congress of the United States, there are 435 of us. We're nothing more than a slice of America. People come, regardless of party labels, they come with all kinds of beliefs and ideas. Uh it's, it's the melting pot of America. It's not up to me to tell them what to think."
Funny, you don't seem to have a problem with telling them how to vote.....
Well, that's it. Boehner's on the birther's shit list.

Somehow they feel that her being arrested for disorderly conduct in the House of Representatives gives her the Birther Holy Grail of "standing"

As an aside I was looking at CELIII's blog earlier and he's made a post about his crazy friend Dr. Kathy Ann Garcia-Lawson (who was fighting to stop her husband divorcing her for years) for whom Charles was writing all her briefs/motions etc and basically abusing the judicial system on her behalf so that her poor husband couldn't be rid of her.
Well it appears due to Mr Lincoln's sterling efforts not only did Kathy finally lose her case but true to form she now significantly financially poorer after the judge in the matter imposed serious sanctions.
