Been a long weekend in birtherstan. Lucas Smith paints a picture of Dr. Orly that is pancake-free but still disliked by her. Walter Fitzpatrick should be on a law enforcement watch list somewhere, since he's ratcheting up the crazy. Dr. Kate continues her calls for military coups and general racism-filled rants.
The Pest and eFail comes up with a great idea, and by great I mean "another record fail", while making a claim about FactCheck that turns out to be completely untrue, (which doesn't stop Polland/Polarik from taking credit for it.) Sam Sewell passes on emailed rumours on the internet. While the birtherstani may be the best thing to happen to Obama for his newly-announced 2012 campaign.
We have another debunking of Polland/Polarik's work, while Dr. Kate is upset that the American Stinker won't publish her writings. The floaters in her cesspool continue to drive away their families. Glenn Beck says Donald Trump birtherism makes him uncomfortable. More whiney letters from the Pest and eFail. And Dr. Orly can't do basic math and reading.
31 March - Convicted forger Lucas Smith shows the "artist" in the term "con artist", as he posts a sample of his latest work.
(Scribd link here)
It's a painting called "Orly Taitz and her Exhibits". Created March 2011, and 21 5/8" by 29" 5/8", painted on acrylics on recycled canvas.
"I first met attorney Orly Taitz, in person, in September of 2009. She is a very beautiful woman and I believe that many of her male supporters (maybe just about all of them except for one or two) are secretly in love with her. Not that there is anything immoral or unethical about that. Who wouldn’t be attracted to a wealthy, powerful and physically attractive person? If I wasn’t a married man I would probably sleep with her even though she is 20 years my senior but I don’t know if I would love her though. I don’t love someone just because they are physically (or visually) attractive."
My oatmeal is about to hit the wall.
"Back in 2009 I was in California with attorney Orly Taitz and litigation aficionado Charles Edward Lincoln, III. I spent a relatively small amount of time, approximately two weeks, in California with Orly Taitz and I cannot say that I really know too much about her other than what I remember from our private conversations, group discussions and also my visual and verbal recollections of watching and listening to her deal with other individuals such as Charles Edward Lincoln, III. However, for the record, I can’t say that I really ‘know’ her. Notwithstanding her family, close friends and possibly one of her dental practice employees, I don’t think that anyone can really say that they ‘know’ Orly Taitz. Not her attorneys, not her plaintiffs, not her witnesses, not her volunteer investigators, not her volunteer researchers and certainly not the many men that are in love with her."
Like who??
In any event, I now choose to believe that Orly Taitz is truly a benign individual. I have, however, been contacted, extensively, by an attorney (and no, it’s not Charles Lincoln) that claims otherwise and in great detail. This attorney’s name is not known in the birther realm"
Philip Berg? Or Gary Kreep?
".... and I have no intentions of sharing their name. Again, and for the record, I now choose to believe that Orly Taitz is a benign, benevolent and generally goodhearted individual."
Do you also choose to believe in Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy? What about the Easter Bunny?
"I started painting perhaps around 9:00 that night (although I’d already ‘primed’ the canvas before this) and I painted through the long and inspiring hours of the night and I finished up around 5:30 the next morning (03.28.2011)."
So was that when the uppers wore off??
"This painting, my magnum opus, Orly Taitz and her Exhibits, is my tour de force!"
So you want to see it??
You really want to see it?
Are you SURE you want to see it??
Okay, here goes. I'll be in the corner, projectile vomiting.....
Wow.
"Orly Taitz and her Exhibits is venerating in that it was painted in honor of attorney Orly Taitz. Granted, the painting may be a little comical but please note that absolutely noaspect of this proud painting can be construed as grotesque or defaming, slanderous or libelous."
"Absurd", "ridiculous", and "kinda pukey", on the other hand....
"I painted this work of art in an exalting fashion and in a conservative manner. Please note that although Orly Taitz is nude and bare-skinned (or at least what we can see from her mid torso up) that her breasts are triple shielded, i.e., one arm is first crossed over her supple breasts and then her other arm is also crossed over her limber breasts."
So the uniboob is both supple and limber? And HOW EXACTLY WOULD YOU KNOW THAT?????
You know, I suspected that CEL3 had some nude photos of Dr. Orly. I wonder if he showed them to Lucas Smith?
"Please note that Orly Taitz appears to be a very happy woman in the painting. I am very confident that if this painting was displayed to 100 random men and these same men were then asked whether or not they considered the woman in the painting to be attractive we would find that at least 95% (or 95 of the 100) would say yes."
Depends. Are we talking men in prison, in a mental ward, or who have a tarantula fetish?
"Furthermore, I am also very confident that if these same 95 men were then asked to
rate, on a scale of 1 thru 10, how attractive the woman in the painting is we would find
that none of the 95 men would give a rating below 8."
No, more like below 10.... negative ten to be precise.
"I, Lucas Daniel Smith, expect to auction off or sell, tentatively soon, Orly Taitz and her Exhibits.
7.5 % of my total net monetary garnering (in US dollars) will be donated to attorney Orly Taitz. She is welcome to use the money in a manner that she deems appropriate and responsible."
I suspect that "suing your ass" would be a use that Dr. Orly would find "appropriate and responsible"
1 April - I really hope that law enforcement authorities are keeping a really good eye on Walter Fitzpatrick. Because the Pest and eFail published this latest rant from him.
(Bold face mine)
"This has been germinating for some days, and I am outraged. I am at a point now where I haven’t been before. People can decide for themselves what that means. These events haven’t been planned; it’s been one thing on top of the next"
Oookay....
"There was a threat made by Dean Burger. His wife is Annette Burger, head of the McMinn County Tea Party. Dean came up to me on Monday night, February 28, 2011, just a month ago, and threatened me, out of the blue. He said, “Don’t come back here. Don’t talk.” He was standing next to another gentleman whose name I do not know yet. I’m telling everybody I can about this.
I’ve been talking to a lot of people a lot, and Mr. Burger is trying to defend himself by saying that I was overly aggressive at these meetings. He said, “You’re not welcome here. Don’t come back, and if you do come back, don’t say anything. We know what you’re up to; we don’t support what you’re trying to do.” He was very vague in the comments that he was making. I tried to pin him down and said, “OK, what is it that you think I’m trying to do?”
So it sounds like Fitzpatrick went to a couple of these meetings, mouthed off, made demands, or tried to take things over. You know, much like he tried to do when he still lived in Washington State.
"The Burger family knows Mr. Riley, and I’m going after Mr. Riley in the Tenth Judicial District in McMinn County because Mr. Riley is standing today unlawfully as a grand jury foreman in McMinn County. He has been illicitly put there by three different judges since 2005."
Let me guess, you tried to give him your "treason" nastygram, he ignored it, same ol', same ol'.
"So I’m tired of it. It’s not out of fear; I’m just tired of it. What we’re seeing here is that the police, the federal agents, the state agents, the special agents, however you describe them…the sheriff, the city police, however you describe the law enforcement officer, have all walked away from enforcing the law. The Constitution of the United States doesn’t work anymore because the law that it represents isn’t being supported. We’re going to name the people who refuse to enforce the law. This is at the center of what’s wrong with America."
O RLY??
"So at this point, we again have a very real and aggressive vetting process to find out who’s with it and who’s not. And I’m going to name the names of the people who are not with it. I’m going to point to our enemies: people who know that the laws are being broken and refuse to enforce them, for whatever reason, and it doesn’t make any different what those reasons are."
Sounds kinda threaty to me.
"...at this point, for any police officer, sheriff, any special agent in any bureau to come forward and prove to us that he is worthy of the description of “untouchable.” You must prove to us that you’re on the right side of the Constitution. If you’re not, you’re going to be named accordingly.
More than a bit threaty
"So I called the FBI and spoke with a lady named Polly Paul and tried to set up an appointment, and there was no response. I think that was the 24th of February. So it was just days later on the 28th when I went to this Monday night meeting at the Tea Party and Mr. Burger came up and said, “Don’t come back. If you do come back, don’t say anything else.” It was a veiled threat, and I said, “That’s it.”
It's really sounding like Fitzpatrick mouthed off and tried to play his usual games with the crowd at the meeting. Wonder if he wore his uniform binkie?
(Bold face HIS for this one)
"I am not willing to sacrifice my freedom for their safety. That’s the end of it. I am not willing to sacrifice my freedom and the freedom of my children and their children and for generations to come for your safety.
Again, O RLY??
"On the evening of October 5, 2010, I was at a town hall meeting in uniform which Senator Corker held here in Sweetwater."
He really can't let that uniform go, can he?
"I’ve had enough. I’ve had enough. I do believe that somebody is planning to kill me. I do believe that there is an effort to stop me from doing what I’m doing, and I am very clear about why that is right now: it’s because of the exposure that we have effected which goes to the justice system which has become a criminal industry."
Paranoid much?
"Beware the fury of the patient man. I’m at a place today where I haven’t been before.
No, I think you've been off your meds before.
"I am naming all the judges in the state of Tennessee as criminals. In order for them to recover or to gain back their name, to remove that stain, that smell and that stink, they’re going to have to come forward and prove to us that they’re worthy of the title or the recognition as an “untouchable.”
Sounds more like he's trying to poison the well for any future courtroom appearances.
"I am tired of hearing that excuse. I am not willing to sacrifice my freedom and my liberty for their safety any more. I’m done with it."
This is sounding repetitive.
(Bold face his again)
"I am prepared to give my life in the fight…quote me. I am prepared to give my life in the fight to get back to the Constitution, because that was the oath that I took. And the veterans in this country who refuse to come to the fight I name, here and now, cowards.""
Why is the phrase "suicide by cop" coming to my mind right about now??
"So we better find out who in this country is going to stand for the Constitution. I’m in a different place today than I was at the beginning of March. I’m tired of being threatened by people in my own community for trying to undo this criminal industry which is institutionalized in the culture. People are looking at me as if I have two heads because it’s against the law. It’s not OK."
No, people are looking at you like you have two heads because you're acting like a complete and total lunatic.
"There are others I can name. This guy who started Oathkeepers, Stewart Rhodes…he’s a fake. Because, you see, the criminality in the country that we’ve exposed locally is found everywhere, and it could have been found anywhere…it’s massive."
Why do I get the feeling Fitzpatrick is upset that the "Oathkeepers" didn't come to his defense?
Wow, Someone seems to be right on the verge of snapping. I can hope he gets some help before someone gets hurt.....or worse.
1 April - Dr. Kate continues to be her usual vile, hate-filled self.
"They are steadfastly defending an illegal military action and a usurper by even discussing ‘options’ for the removal of Gaddafi or ‘arming the rebels’. This is nonsense and they know it.
What do you think is going to happen if we Americans let this continue? Obama is attacking without authority and we expect these countries not to retaliate?"
Actually it looks like he's trying to prevent such, at least to those of us in the reality-based community
"The buffoons– republicans included–closing ranks with silence on Obama’s illegality are sealing our fate right now, they are finishing the nation!
Because nothing is as patriotic or American as calling for an unconstitutional military coup to overthrow a legitmately-elected President.
And then there's Dr. Kate and her floaters in comments.

Well, so far the only state in which a "birther bill" made it out of committee is Arizona, and that's because they gutted a bill that DID make it out and stapled the birther bill into it. The rest are pending committee or have died in committee.

Hey Orly, did you see that Lucas Smith has painted a portrait of you and is selling it?"
So does she want the fake kenyan birth certificate authenticated, or the nude painting?? If the latter, does that mean Sandra Lines would have to look at Dr. Orly in the nude to confirm it?
The funny thing is she seems to have taken it down at her site o'malware. "Before It's News" stilll had it though.
2 April - In the long list of fail that the Pest and eFail has embraced like a long-lost lover, we have a new one.
"My fellow Americans, the time has come for us to withdraw from the system of fraud and corruption that has been erected around us by those who have no desire but to dominate others. We must be honest with ourselves and acknowledge that our revered Constitution is all but dead, whittled away by a century of willful abdication by our elected “representatives”. Our only recourse to restore this magnificent charter is to return to where we began, by mutually declaring our independence from tyranny."
And how do you plan to do this?
"So today, I propose The 99 Protest in solidarity with the 99’ers who cannot find gainful employment due to the machinations of the corrupt power elite who have outsourced our jobs and our wealth, are destroying our economy and debasing our currency. The 99 Protest is very simple. On May 2, 2011, each and every liberty-loving patriot working as a “W-2 employee” should go to their personnel office, request a new Form W-4, and fill in “99” in Line H. This means each of us is substantially withholding from the federal criminal enterprise the money they need to wage their war on humanity. The machinery of tyranny will grind to a halt. The system of corruption and enslavement erected around us will begin to crumble. The budget will have to be slashed. Unconstitutional departments and programs will have to be dismantled. The light of truth and freedom will shine through the dark clouds. We will have fired our own “shot heard round the world” in defense of our God-given human freedom. But we will have done it peacefully and legally, using their own corrupt system against them."
I don't think they understand how withholding taxes work. Or the fact that, come next year, their tax bill will be in the "bend over and forget the lube" realm. And that's assuming they don't get penalized or fined for playing cutesy games with their withholding. The IRS is known for not having a sense of humour at all.
"We will be pushed by these traitors, quite likely to the brink of physical violence and beyond. We will have our defense of liberty turned against us. We will likely be labeled domestic terrorists, much like our brave Founding Fathers who pledged their lives, fortunes and sacred honor in defense of liberty."
No, you'll get treated like run-of-the-mill tax cheats. Next?
2 April - Speaking of year-around fools, unlicensed pastoral therapist Sam Sewell pens this:
"How could one "man" tick off most of the world !!!!!
All so very true and sad....
The American people can now more readily 'understand' why the Obama's were omitted from the guest list to the Royal wedding in April! This is a very sobering article. Our handling of relationships with the Britons over the oil spill doesn't help either."
He then goes on to cite what he claims to be an article from the UK's "Daily Telegraph". Written on 11 March 2010.
More than that, he attributes it to:
"London Daily Telegraph editor -- Alex Singleton"
The problem? What he sites on his blog ISN'T what was written. As Alex Singleton himself writes:
"Alex Singleton
06/30/2010 06:15 AM
The vast majority of the email that's being going around America is not written by me. I also am not the editor of the Daily Telegraph."
Once again Sam Sewell proves that being a member of MENSA doesn't mean one isn't an idiot.
3 April - The Pest and eFail really doesn't bother checking their claims, do they?? As professional seditionist Sharon Rondeau breathlessly claims:
"COLB Image Removed from Factcheck.org Website
ARE THEY GETTING NERVOUS, OR ARE THE WALLS COMING DOWN?"
"It has been reported that the image of Obama’s purported Certification of Live Birth has been removed or is otherwise unavailable from the website of Factcheck.org as of April 3, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
The image still appears on Obama’s “Fight the Smears” website from 2008. Under the image there is a submission with Factcheck’s logo which reads:
When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children. Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.
The same webpage contains an initial statement also in the form of a message which can be sent by supporters to others which states:
Smears claiming Barack Obama doesn’t have a birth certificate aren’t actually about that piece of paper — they’re about manipulating people into thinking Barack is not an American citizen.
She's correct in so far as that page has an image that creates a "The system cannot find the path specified."
HOWEVER, the page with the high-resolution photos that FactCheck took of the actual document are still up and at this link here. Seems to me that any "cover up" would have removed the images that had the certificate number, stamp, and signature as well.
Unless there's no cover-up, simply a broken link, and Sharon Rondeau is making a mountain out of a molehill. Which even the birtherstani faithful point out:
"AuntieMadder says:
Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 4:27 PM
It’s hard to say just yet if the image was removed because the image placeholder remains as does the image path. The image path would lead to a dead-end if the image or folder containing the image could have been moved or renamed while the reference to it at the page hasn’t been updated to reflect the change."
Yeah, but that would be the sane and logical reason. Which is why the Pest and eFail won't take it into account.
Oh, and look who's claiming credit for the disappearance that isn't?
"Dr. Ron Polland says:
Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 7:09 PM
I’m the reason that image is gone.
Even though it isn't?
"Politifact did, too, replacing the 811 x 786 image they used throughout 2008 and 2008 until I caught their sister site, Tampabay.com, using an image identical to Factcheck’s (except that the resolution was changed to 200 from 300 and they added the comment, “Barack Obama’s birth certificate. Courtesy of the Obama Campaign.”"
O RLY?? Funny, look here and here and here at Politifact's website.
Doesn't seem like a removal to me. Funny thing that.....
"Do people realize that the Obama Campaign only recognizes the small, cropped image (585 x 575) as being Obama’s “official” birth certificate?"
Do people realize you're lying though your teeth?
"I know who did and who made the original forgery. I also know the chain of custody of all the images."
So who did you make up lies about this week??
Polland/Polarik is, once again, a lying sack of shit.
3 April - Albert R. Hunt at Bloomberg points out that the birthers may be the very best thing to happen to Obama.
“To many of these people it’s a question of legitimacy,” says Richard Norton Smith, a George Mason University presidential scholar and author who has headed six presidential libraries. “There are a surprisingly large number of Republicans who simply don’t accept Obama as president.”"
Yeah, we've kinda noticed that over the last few years....
"“Every moment the conservatives talk about this, they marginalize themselves and diminish themselves in the minds of independent voters,” he added, “and neglect the larger issues that Americans care about.”
If Bachmann and David Koch dominate their party’s debate, the Republicans maybe should forfeit next year’s elections. All Obama has to do is stand back and watch."
And as the last few years have shown, the biggest danger the birtherstani are, are to themselves.
3 April - Hadn't seen this before, but here's another debunking of Polland/Polarik's claims, dating back to 13 June 2008
"Yep. This birth certificate copy was printed on Jun 6th of last year. It's those little touches that lend an air of credibility to this document. Now, granted, anyone who really knows digital imaging could STILL have faked this digitally, but at first glance, it appears legit. In the next few days, I'll see if anything else jumps out to validate or repudiate the provenance of this file, but it looks to me like the only tampering done to it was erasing the document number.
More importantly, I've given you all the tools necessary to try this yourself on these images, or others. Of course, it's not always the tools that are the barrier, it's knowing how to use them, and read the results. But go try it for yourself. Find some images and analyze them. Take a real image (like something from your own camera, that you know is "clean") and doctor it up, and see if you can detect the alterations yourself. And read Neal's excellent paper."
And a tip of the hat to another debunker.
Thanks to Dr Neal Krawetz, who I finally got to meet at a the NCLUG meeting the other night, for pioneering some great practical work in the field.
3 April - Dr. Kate seems to have a problem with the "American Stinker", because it doesn't seem to be de Vattely enough for her tastes.
To make things even more amusing, this rant is reposted in part at the Pest and eFail. Funny how professional seditionist Sharon Rondeau keeps insisting she's not a racist, but allows open racists to write for it.....
"This author has repeatedly submitted articles to the American Thinker on the subject of Barack Obama’s failure to meet the constitutional requirements for the Presidency articulated in Article II of the Constitution. American Thinker has refused to publish not only mine but many articles on this subject, presumably because they either don’t see a problem or have been directed to not publish anything of substance."
Or maybe they think you're batshit crazy even by their standards.
"The American Thinker’s satire and ludicrous analyses aside, the failure of the media and others to acknowledge that Barack Hussein Obama is not a natural born citizen eligible to the Presidency under Article II, Section I, Clause 5 of the Constitution is one of the most serious breaches of the Constitution in United States history."
There is a failure, but it's the failure of the de Vattelists to realize that there is not a single piece of evidence in US civil code, US law, US legal history, OR the US Constitution to support their "Blood and Soil" theory.
"Donald Trump’s release of his Birth Certificate, and the ‘media’s’ immediate questioning of Trump’s mother’s birth outside the U.S. demonstrates unequivocally that the media knows full well what a ‘natural born citizen’ is. "
Actually I thought it was more people making fun of the fact that the birthers were holding Trump to a much different standard than Obama.
"Fact. The natural born citizenship clause of the Constitution requires both parents to be American citizens at the time of a child’s birth in order for that child to be eligible for the Presidency. Mr. Obama has already admitted that at birth he had dual citizenship from his father, a British subject, and his mother, an American citizen. This is irrespective of birth place. A dual citizens’ allegiance is inherently divided. The Constitution requires singular allegiance to the United States at birth."
Except for the minor little fact that there's absolutely nothing in the Constitution that defines "Natural Born Citizen" as "two American citizen parents".
Dr. Kate doesn't seem to understand the difference between "fact" and "opinion". Or "fact" and "making stuff up" for that matter.
"Fact. The Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution establishes the conditions for U.S. citizenship but not ‘natural born’ citizenship. Fourteenth Amendment citizens are not natural born citizens. The Fourteenth Amendment did not modify, replace, or change Article II, Section I, Clause 5 of the Constitution."
Funny, the only people I usually see who make the "14th Amendment citizens are not Natural Born citizens" claim are the people at Stormfront and other white nationalist groups.
And Dr. Kate wonders why she's being called a racist.
And at least one of the floaters in her cesspool admit to the "blud und boden" approach.

Don't you just love how the birtherstani continue to alienate and insult their own families??
3 April - At the Huffington Post, Asher Smith wonders if birthers will be the elephant in the room at the first GOP presidential debate in May.
"What happens if 2012 GOP hopefuls are asked to raise their hands if they have any doubts about Obama's birthplace?
Much like 2007's evolution query, there's a greater potential for backlash for candidates providing the "correct" answer. Recent polling suggests that the majority of GOP primary voters doubt Obama's natural-born status. As of now, conservatives lack a single candidate to coalesce around -- or uniformly oppose. If a candidate without established right-wing bona fides, however, were to be perceived as dismissing a movement that represents a significant cross-section of the Republican Party, how would that affect their campaign? Haley Barbour has a long enough record to potentially get away with shunning the birthers, but what about Mitt Romney or Tim Pawlenty? And if there is a candidate willing to take a lonely stand on the issue, how would that affect donations from the Party base? Michele Bachmann, already raising more money than Romney in the first quarter of 2011, has demonstrated the disproportionate role true believers can have on the financial landscape.
A Sunday New York Times article points out that Trump's flirtations with presidential campaigns have, to this point, always ended with Trump leaving the field once he managed to sell enough books or gin up enough attention. This year, however, that may be irrelevant. Trump's March madness may have already shifted the race. Ultimately, Trump's greatest impact on the Republican campaign may be what he forces others to say."
3 April - When Glenn Beck thinks you're crazy, you're more than likely crazy.
"I don't know exactly what that strategy is," he said. "I'll tell you what it is," O'Reilly said. "It's get attention."
"But that doesn't help you," Beck said. "I could walk around the streets of New York without pants and I could get attention."
He then said that Trump's birther talk, as well as his comments about China, had "made me a little uncomfortable recently." Speaking about the birth certificate he said, "He releases one that's worse than Obama's, and then he comes back and says on your program, 'he might be a Muslim too.' What does that mean, Bill?!"
Beck concluded, "The last thing the country needs is a showboat...I would hope we could get serious candidates who could shake things up by not saying provocative things, just by stating the truth of what's going on."
3 April - And in the Pest and eFail's long tradition of whiney demanding letters...
(Bold face mine)
"From: Tom Arnold
Subject: John Boehner- ARE YOU AND THE GOP REALLY GOING TO LET BARACK OBAMA RUN FOR A SECOND TERM WITHOUT CHALLENGING HIS STATUS AS A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN AS REQUIRED BY OUR CONSTITUTION?
To: (redacted)
Cc: (redacted)
Date: Saturday, April 2, 2011, 5:31 PM
If you do, you will potentially be committing misprision of treason. You do know, don’t you, that the preponderance of evidence available today (not the hearsay from Hawaii and the so-called “birth certificate” posted online which is not a genuine long-form birth certificate at all and which document experts have concluded is a forgery) indicates that Obama was born outside the United States-in Kenya. "
And your proof of this?
"An American citizen, Lucas Smith, provided every member of Congress with proof of Obama’s birth in Kenya birth in Kenya (including an actual birth certificate with physicians’ signatures from the hospital in Mombasa, Kenya, where, it certainly appears, Obama really was born)."
Ah yes, the convicted forger and con-artist who is trying to sell a nude painting of Dr. Orly, right??
"John Boehner and the GOP, are you part of the conspiracy, too! The conspiracy to defraud the American people! You can refuse to read and refuse to respond to these remarks of mine and others like myself, but some day, I promise you, John Boehner and the GOP, you are going to be held accountable! Just maybe in a court of law.
Oooh, threaty! And look! Lucas Smith is trying to pimp his painting!!

Dear Tom Arnold,
Your letter is well crafted and effective. Thank you for taking the time to write and the send the letter to House Rep. John Boehner (R-OH).
I, Lucas Daniel Smith, am auctioning off a 21 5/8″ x 29″ x 5/8″ painting that I have entitled “Orly Taitz and her Exhibits”."
Surely the birtherstani who think that fake "Kenyan" birth certificate will be lining up to fork out their money for a nude paining of their favourite Lady Liberty, right??
"dotdotcom says:

OMG that painting is disgusting! Does Orly know you painted a caricature of her partially naked??? I was leaning towards thinking your Kenyan BC was the real deal but in my opinion, you are denigrating Orly in this painting which makes your character HIGHLY questionable!"
Like the past history of Lucas Smith being convicted for forgery and scamming people out of their money DIDN'T suggest that???
"AuntieMadder says:

When the ebay page opened to reveal the image, I can definitely say that I was stunned. Not wanting to jump to conclusions or make any quick judgment, I clicked the scribd link thinking it may contain an explanation of the painting (why it is what it is). Instead, I found eight or ten or so pages of personal and biographic ramblings, like something written by a crack- or tweak-head or a person with bi-polar disorder at the peak of a manic phase."
And yet somehow you still think his fake "Kenyan" birth certificate is authentic, right??
The cognitive disconnect here is amazing.
4 April - President Barack Obama officially announces his intent for re-election in 2012.
The video was accompanied by an e-mail message sent to Obama supporters:
Today, we are filing papers to launch our 2012 campaign. We're doing this now because the politics we believe in does not start with expensive TV ads or extravaganzas, but with you -- with people organizing block-by-block, talking to neighbors, co-workers, and friends. And that kind of campaign takes time to build. So even though I'm focused on the job you elected me to do, and the race may not reach full speed for a year or more, the work of laying the foundation for our campaign must start today. We've always known that lasting change wouldn't come quickly or easily. It never does. But as my administration and folks across the country fight to protect the progress we've made -- and make more -- we also need to begin mobilizing for 2012, long before the time comes for me to begin campaigning in earnest. As we take this step, I'd like to share a video that features some folks like you who are helping to lead the way on this journey. Please take a moment to watch:In the coming days, supporters like you will begin forging a new organization that we'll build together in cities and towns across the country. And I'll need you to help shape our plan as we create a campaign that's farther reaching, more focused, and more innovative than anything we've built before. We'll start by doing something unprecedented: coordinating millions of one-on-one conversations between supporters across every single state, reconnecting old friends, inspiring new ones to join the cause, and readying ourselves for next year's fight. This will be my final campaign, at least as a candidate. But the cause of making a lasting difference for our families, our communities, and our country has never been about one person. And it will succeed only if we work together. There will be much more to come as the race unfolds. Today, simply let us know you're in to help us begin, and then spread the word: http://my.barackobama.com/2012
Thank you,
Barack
Didn't a lot of birther blogs claim that Obama wasn't going to run for a second term due to the various birther bills in the states and other mopery and dopery??
Gee, what a surprise, they're wrong again.
4 April - Much to the dismay of the PUMAs attached to birtherstan, Bill Clinton himself comments on birtherism.
"A February poll from Public Policy Polling found that 51 percent of Republican primary voters think Obama was born outside the United States. Since then, potential GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump has stirred the pot with a long string of media appearances questioning Obama’s birthplace and asking for his birth certificate. Obama’s 2008 campaign and the state of Hawaii have released his birth certificate, though not the “long form” version that some activists are seeking.
“He will fight back,” Clinton said of the attacks.
“But I think one of the elementary rules of combat is you don’t want to get in your opponent’s way if he’s shooting himself in the foot.”
Which doesn't stop some wishful thinking:

...When Billy comes out with a statement in support of obama, the odds are that he's working behind the scenes to find more dirt on the birth certificate issue. YOu go Bill. Once you can get obama disqualified from running in 2012,,,,,,who they gonna call? That's right.....Hillary( and Bill).
4 April - Dr. Orly really doesn't read very well, does she? (malware and redirect warning)
"WONDERFUL RESULTS! ACCORDING TO THE LATEST NEWSMAX POLL VAST MAJORITY OF AMERICANS WILL VOTE FOR DONALD TRUMP IN 2012. 93% STATED THAT TRUMP IS CORRECT TO QUESTION OBAMA’S LEGITIMACY AS THE U.S. PRESIDENT. ALL THE OTHER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES, INCLUDING OBAMA-PUPPETS OF OLIGARCHS, PUPPETS OF THE ESTABLISHMENT WERE IN SINGLE DIGITS. THE OTHER 9 REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES GOT 0-8%. OBAMA GOT 9%

The poll results from Newsmax (a right-wing site to begin with) are here, and based off the results of on-line polling. How she manages to get "vast majority of Americans" out of this is rather questionable at best.
I will note the fact that a higher percentage on this poil voted for McCain in 2008, and we know how THAT ended up.

Excellent recap of crazy town, as usual, Patrick.
I'm definitely concerned that Walt Fitzpatrick is about to go down the James Von Brunn path. I hope he's being closely monitored. He's always been a ticking time-bomb.
On other matters, re: Glenn Beck wanting GOP candidates to not be crazy and to not "showboat" or say "provocative things"... another irony meter just exploded!

Patrick, this entry was highly entertaining. You had me laughing out loud from start to finish. Keep up the great work!

I have to echo the concern shown by g. When folks say crazier than usual shit, it means they are about to do something they are hoping someone will stop them (on some level, most of the time...).

(although I’d already ‘primed’ the canvas before this)
Why is "primed" in quotation marks?
It's not merely a painting, it's a movement.

Interesting that Walt is talking about "my children". Does he really have children? Or is this another of his exaggerations and delusions?
We don't know why he moved to this small town across the country from his previous residence. But knowing him, it was probably to get revenge on someone who didn't listen to him. Does anybody know what happened to his mail order bride after the incidences of domestic violence?

Remember the bizarre puppet lady, BJ Smartazz? Apparently she's released a whole new batch of birther videos. There truly are no words that exist to describe them--the one attacking Clarence Thomas is overtly racist. Here's the link:

Patrick? Please no more paintings. I had trouble keeping dinner down.
