27 April - And NPR asks why the media fed the birthers for so long?
"And a review by Pew's journalism project found that cable news did devote a lot of time to the matter. It's hard to pin down precisely how much coverage each cable network dedicated to the "birther issue" because many of those stories are incorporated within larger categories such as the 2012 presidential campaign and the Obama administration.
Mark Jurkowitz, associate director of the Pew project, told NPR that MSNBC devoted the most time to political matters; Fox was next. However, MSNBC has an openly liberal outlook on most of its opinion shows and often spent time disputing the claims. Fox News' opinion lineup is predominantly and strongly right of center.
The liberal watchdog group Media Matters for America says that since early March, guests made false claims in 52 segments about Obama's birth certificate, but that Fox News hosts or anchors disputed those claims in just eight instances.
Nonetheless, in recent days, Fox News anchors such as Shepard Smith and Bill Hemmer threw cold water on doubts regarding the president's birth."

28 April - David Frum wonders why the GOP didn't rein in the birthers in their party?
"Greenwald suggests that the president cunningly baited a trap with the conscious intent of portraying his opponents as racist lunatics.
Greenwald may very well be correct about this. Question: Faced with such a devilish ploy, how might Republicans and conservatives have avoided being victimized? Here’s a thought. What about: not walk into it?
Instead, with rare exceptions, leading Republicans from the Speaker of the House downward played games with the birther issue. Maybe they played those games unhappily, but they played the games even so. That was a choice, not a compulsion. And some Republicans – Sarah Palin inevitably, but others too – did much more than play games. That was a choice too.
What else could Republicans have done? They might have answered as Bill Clinton answered when confronted by 9/11 conspiracy theorist hecklers. He heard them out. He recapitulated the facts. He restated the truth. And he told people who continued to defy reality that they “looked like idiots.” He added for good measure: “We heard from you. You go away.”
28 April - Fox Business has Pamela Geller on to say "Long form - fraud or hoax?"
"After pointing at a blown-up version of Obama's long-form certificate and discussing whether the borders were "Photoshopped," Bolling concluded that "it may or may not be, but it certainly opens up the can of worms that there are at least questions."
Here's an example of the kinds of "questions" Bolling now has. After noting that the doctor that signed the birth certificate had "passed away," Bolling pointed out that the doctor's wife and son both were unaware that he had delivered President Obama. Bolling asked: "If you gave birth to the president of the United States, don't you think your family would know about it?"
The doctor died in 2003.
Let that sink in for a second.
At the time, Barack Obama was a little-known state senator in Illinois. If the doctor had told his family before he died that he delivered the future president, that would have spawned a much more interesting conspiracy theory (he's a wizard!). Apparently Eric Bolling thinks obstetricians give their families a list of the most interesting people they delivered -- with a special section for "potential future presidents" -- before they die.
Stop digging, Bolling. You're embarrassing yourself."
Bear in mind that Geller still believes in "TechDude", so she'll believe ANYONE who claims anything negative about Obama.
28 April - The GOP still has a lot of work ahead of them to get the stink of birther off of their hands.

The sane Republicans have their work cut out for them.

Reince Priebus, the new RNC chair, is not as effective at political messaging as Rove. And so in attempting to dismiss birtherism while not offending the birthers, he inadvertently made headlines by implicitly endorsing birtherism. He said that he believed that the president was born in America, but refused to condemn Donald Trump's birtherism. Yesterday, the RNC joined the chorus of Republicans dismissing the entire birth certificate thing as if it was a distraction Obama cooked up himself: "Obama’s release of his birth cert. is a nice, but temporary distraction for him from high gas prices & a terrible economy."
This is an even better conspiracy theory than birtherism, actually. Barack Obama obviously wrote the first rumors about his background, hid his "long-form" birth certificate away, and then paid Philip Berg and Andy Martin to spread the story that the president was foreign-born, all so that one random day in April of 2011 he could "distract" everyone from how expensive gas is.
Positively brilliant."

Mrs McCabe further states that Subject [Obama senior] has been running around with several girls since he first arrived here and last summer she cautioned him about his playboy ways. Subject replied that he would 'try' to stay away from the girls.
The memo also considers Obama senior's earlier Kenya marriage, and after noting that "polygamy is not an excludable or deportation charge," it recommends that "the Subject be closely questioned before another extention is granted – and denial be considered."

28 April - Salon touches upon other roots of birtherism. Racism has been one of the big ones, but as I've said before, there are a few others as well.
"Shortly thereafter, though, something unexpected happened: Obama started winning primaries and caucuses. Lots of them. By the end of February, he'd built a commanding delegate advantage. Hillary, it became clear, was going to lose. The threat of a Clinton restoration was over. Pretty much so. There is a streak in the far right that sees any Democrat in the White House as a de facto usurper of a Republican's rightful place.

28 April - I'm trying to figure out what commodities Ann Barnhardt trades in, save insanity, bigotry, and general crazyness. She's a "conservative catholic", but thinks Ayn Rand is okay with her and is the type of gun nut that gives gun owners like myself a bad rep.
Mostly known it seems for a YouTube video where she tears a Quran up, she also seems to be trading pretty heavily on the Birtherstani Stock Market.

...Obama is not the POTUS. Obama is not the CIC. Further, the entire Executive Branch is illegitimate, and so all military orders coming from the Executive / CIC are illegitimate and illegal. Do our field commanders in all of the service branches know and understand this? Do the sub skippers know and understand this? If orders come down for the USS Enterprise or USS Carl Vinson carrier groups to steam toward Israel, what will they do? Are we really willing to watch and wait and potentially force our military and naval commanders to make the decision whether or not to fire on an ally of the United States? Are we that crippled by our own moral cowardice?
The Obama regime MUST be removed NOW. Usurpation and sedition is not something that can be "ridden out until the next election".

Obama’s Chicago mentor and aforementioned ghostwriter, Bill Ayers, is an avowed Communist. Obama’s so-called “pastor”, Jeremiah Wright, is a Marxist and rabid anti-Semite. Since America is the diametrical opposite of the tyranny of Marxism and the tyranny of islam, hatred of America is the inevitable derivitive of Obama's Marxist-muslim life and upbringing. Naturally, all of these people share the common trait of a visceral, seething, and in the case of Ayers, a demonstrably violent hatred of the United States, her economy, her culture and her people. Obama has been indoctrinated since early childhood to believe that the United States is the enemy, the ultimate criminal enterprise, the source and foundation of every imaginable grievance – and not merely on an aggregate scale, but on a personal level. Barack Obama views the United States of America as his sworn personal enemy, and thus his entire life has had as its focus and goal ascending to positions of power that would allow him to do one thing: mete out punishment. And that is exactly what Obama is doing.
Obama is, in all likelihood, a sociopath. He does not empathize, or even possess the capacity to fake the appearance of empathy toward other human beings. Obama doesn’t care about the poor or the oppressed, and the horrific collateral damage already being caused by ObamaCare is but one example of this cold indifference. These groups are merely pawns that Obama uses to capture and increase his own power, and to falsely justify the punishments that he is meting out upon the entire country. The more power Obama acquires, the more severe the punishment he can inflict upon the country. ...BARACK OBAMA IS NOT LEGALLY SEATED. Barack Obama is not the President of the United States. He is a fraud and a usurper, and may or may not be a citizen of the United States of America. THEREFORE impeachment has nothing to do with any of this AND WOULD DO EVEN MORE DAMAGE THAN HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE.
Why? Because if Obama is impeached, the impeachment proceeding ITSELF would establish a legal precedent affirming his legitimacy as POTUS. Impeaching him would actually give him the full rubber-stamping of legal affirmation by the Congress AND the SCOTUS. Dude. That CAN NOT happen.
If he is removed via law enforcement action - as he should be - the entire Obama regime and currently usurping Executive Branch would be instantly dissolved and nullified, as would ALL ACTIONS and LAWS enacted by the Obama regime. Do you understand what this means? If Obama is arrested, ObamaCare instantly ceases to be. All of the drilling moratoriums instantly cease to be. Everything that these Godforsaken Communist wretches have done INSTANTLY, LEGALLY, and PERMANENTLY is deleted. Sotomayor and Kagan? PACK YOUR BAGS, YOU MARXIST WENCHES. Eric Holder? What size orange jumpsuit can we fit you with, Player?
Obama needs to be arrested and held without bail, as he is obviously a massive, massive flight risk. The first thing that Law Enforcement needs to do is determine if he is a full citizen, dual citizen or not a citizen at all. If he is a full or dual citizen, he needs to be tried for treason given all of the rights and due process afforded a citizen of the United States under the Constitution. If convicted, he needs to spend the rest of his life in the SuperMax Federal Pen in Florence, Colorado. If he is found to have no U.S. citizenship at all, he needs to be tried by a military tribunal as an enemy combatant, and if convicted, specially housed for the rest of his life at Florence, Colorado."

They have opened the PDF image in Adobe Illustrator, and it is indeed made up of many component images. It is not a single image, as a true scan that was simply PDF'd would be.
