Before I go into today's dispatches, I'd like to touch on something someone said at the Fogbow.
The suggestion was made that one of the reasons for the blind hatred many birthers have for Obama is because they see it as personal.
Now part of this may be projection. They personally hate Obama with the heat of a thousand white hot suns. They wish something bad to happen to Obama. Therefore they believe Obama hates THEM personally, that Obama wants something bad to happen to them personally.
Now while Barack Obama has better things to do - like being leader of the free world and President of the United States, in their minds every single negative thing they believe he's doing is directed at they themselves. To the 9/11 truther, mail-order lawyer/dentist, part-time harpist, unemployed hydrologist, poodle-fetishist, disgraced ex-Navy officer, con-artist, former burglar with a self-granted divinity doctorate, bigfoot researcher, and the mixed bag of disgruntled ex-PUMAs, far-right nutjobs, conspiracy kooks, and just plain racists, they see Obama's actions as a direct personally attack.
That's one reason why they dismiss the long form not just as a forgery, but a particularly inept and clumsy forgery. Nevermind that the CIA - much less the "conspiracy" like the New World Order they claim Obama is part of - could have come up with a far better and more believable "forgery" if one was called for.
Partly because their attempts to puff themselves up means belittling anything Obama does (which feeds into their ability to see him as an evil mastermind AND complete incompetent at the very same time). But mostly because in believing it as a forgery, they can justify the giant raised middle finger they see Obama flashing at them and only them.
As I said, it's a form of projection. Since their hatred and anger is personal, they have to believe the President hates them back just as much, is just as angry with them.
And personally, I think he's got better things to do with his time than worry about what some enraged birther's feelings are.
Anyway, today's update includes some news about Charles Dyer. Tracy, aka "KenyanBornObamaAcorn" has branched out from spewing lies in comments sections to spewing lies on YouTube. She's starting to occupy the same ecological niche in the birther biosphere that Linda Starr once occupied.
We have a two-fer of crazy, as Holy Cao tells us who her NEW, non-court appointed attorney is - if said attorney can get Pro Hac Vice status. And not to be outdone, James Manning has a telephone bromance with Walter Fitzpatrick.
Birthers continue to fall for the San Diego Reader parody article, while a local news station calls them out on it. Terry Lakin comes home to an airport filled with tens of supporters.
The Pest and eFail reminds their readers that sedition starts at the local level, though they're not adverse to a violent overthrow happening on the national level either. Dr. Orly complains that some debunking attorneys have a better knowledge of the law than she does. Which isn't true, because almost anyone has a better knowledge of the law than Dr. Orly. And Donald Trump decides that being a tribble mobility scooter is a higher calling than being President.
27 April - KOCO-TV reports that deliberations could start in the child abuse case of Oathkeeper, militia member, and birther Charles Dyer.
"An Oklahoma jury could begin deliberations on Wednesday in a case of severe child abuse.
Charles Dyer is charged with sexually assault in an incident involving a 7-year-old girl last year.
The girl testified in a closed courtroom about what happened"

12 May - Not to be out-crazied by the pairing of Cao and Dr. Orly, James Manning interviews Walter Fitzpatrick.
Fitzpatrick seems to think that federal investigators and federal grand juries have accepted his "treason" nastygram as legitimate. He also mentions Obama being "declared by a military official" as being a "foreign-born domestic terrorist". Since Fitzpatrick is the one making that declaration, it tends to support the increasing amount of evidence that Fitzpatrick seems to think he's still in the military. He's also wanting other federal grand juries to act on his charges if the two in Knoxville don't.
Fitzpatrick calls Obama a "street punk drug criminal", to which Manning, not to be outdone, calls Obama a "long-legged mack daddy. He's a pimp I'm not being funny, I'm not being facetious, I'm not being satirical. The man is a PIMP, Lt. Commander... he's a street pimp."
And, just to make sure he stays on the FBI's watch list, Fitzpatrick ends with:
"...we are in very terrible trouble as a country and we're going to have to stand up and from the bottom up, fight shoulder to shoulder, standing with you and Elizabeth to take our country back."
(Manning's wife is Elizabeth).
Fitzpatrick comes across as calm and matter of fact, but remember he's talking to a fellow traveler in birtherstan.

14 May - The NBC affiliate in San Diego reports on the birthers who fell for the San Diego Reader parody.
"The Post & Email ran a twice-updated retraction Friday morning after it said it spoke to a San Diego Reader secretary who told them the article was "completely fake."
Dr. Orly Taitz Esquire, a blog that coins itself as the “World’s Leading Obama Eligibility Challenge Web Site,” posted the San Diego Reader story on its site and Facebook account Friday morning.
While some readers were strung along, others commented on the Facebook page that the story was a satire, and within six hours, the story appeared to be removed from the site.
An extract of the San Diego Reader piece was also published early Friday morning on UnlawfulPresident.com beneath the headline: “Obama snubbed by school for fraud birth certificate.”"
14 May - The National Institute of Military Justice blog has a comment about Lakin's homecoming.

My family just had th ehonor of meeting Lt. Col. Terry Lakin at Baltimore Washington International Airport as he arrived home.
We were priviledged to assist the Terry Lakin Action Fund by helping staff the Welcome Home.
As we arrived at BWI, we got to baggage claim a few minutes before an Honor Flight of WWII vets arrived to tour the WWII Memorial. There were a few dozen of us ready to welcome Terry Lakin home so as the vets arrived, the claim area erupted in applause.
A while later, Terry arrived to cheers from the crowd of about 100. I spoke with people who had come many miles, including PA, OK, FL, VA. He seemed to be in good spirits and anxious to spend some time with his family.
Great crowd, promised protesters of course stayed home."

What's interesting is Lakin's response to the reporter about the long form. Quote:

"The White House last month released a long form birth certificate for Obama from a Hawaii hospital, largely putting the debate to rest, but Lakin’s supporters said they were unconvinced of Obama’s status as a natural-born U.S. citizen.
The long-form document “is a forgery,” said Linda Mercaldo of Staten Island, NY. “There is enough evidence now to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this man in the White House is a pretender and a fraud.”

Well, since I do not believe that the purpose of Orly's "foundation" would qualify for 501(c)(3) status anyway, I could imagine the the IRS was following up Part 3 and 4 of the form 1023.

Birthers are the dumbest bunch I have ever seen. Just reading comments on Butterdezillion's blog and they claim the BC released is forged because there are no folds in it. How could they mail the BC without folding it? Do they take the time to read how it was obtained? Doesn't it make sense that Obama's attorney flew to Hawaii to get it and probably placed it in a brief case without folding it? Other claims that it has to be a forgery because the paper is too new - it should be slightly stained and brown. Or that they didn't have that security paper back in the 60's. But what should I expect from people who think the COLB was a fake because laser printers didn't exist in the 60's.
It makes me want to reach through my computer and shake some sense into their stupid skulls.
