In today's dispatches, the facts are never a birthers friend, but you think that some basic fact check about their own cases might be of benefit. The Pima County Sheriff's has a familar name as their guest. Leo Donofrio speaks, while the birthers continue to rave about Jerome Corsi's book o' lies.

The Pest and eFail is all moist over Dr. Orly's "subpoena". "One Pissed-Off Vietnam Vet" continues to be cranky, while the Pest and eFail actually publishes an article from "Jack the Marine" that doesn't tap dance around the issue or play coy flirty games, no, it actually calls for a military coup in just those exact words.

Donofrio and Pidegon need to break out the checkbook. And MissTickly breaks her silence to go off into conspiracyland and it's trained seals of both kinds.

11 May - The American Independent Party news has a rather interestingly fact-free article up by one Charles Fettinger of the Doo Doo Economics Blog.

"The first damning fact was his failure to disclose simple documents like birth certificates, school records and the like prior to the election."

He did, next?

There's a problem here. Drake/Barnett/Keyes v Obama was filed 20 January 2009, the day Obama was sworn in. In addition, it was filed AFTER he was sworn in. Fettinger is either confusing dates and cases, or making crap up.

Funny, when you file a lawsuit against the President of the United States, the Justice Department tends to show up.

It's unknown at this time what the previously convicted forger has done now.

24 May - The conspiracy site "PrisonPlanet" is piddling on the rug with excitement about swiftboat liar Jerome Corsi.

"Speaking today on the Alex Jones Show, investigative journalist Jerome R. Corsi dropped a huge bombshell. Dr. Corsi provided proof that he was alerted to an on-going plot to release a fake more than two months before President Obama released his purported long-form birth certificate."

24 May - The Pest and eFail gets all damp and bothered over Dr. Orly's questionable "subpoena".

First off, the response is due 30 or 60 days from the date proper service is done and the request is received.

Second off, you can't conduct discovery without a judge allowing discovery to take place.

As far as I understand, duplicated pixels, layers and kerning issues cannot undo a legal certification of authenticity. The HDOH has the last say as to legal authenticity, even if the underlying record were to ever be challenged. And it appears possible that the HDOH Director has the discretion to put a late or delayed birth certificate on a ‘recreated’ 1961 birth certificate form in qualifying cases."

So basically you think it's a fake, but realize that the courts will accept it as real. Got it.

She then goes off on a long ramble about the difference between a *raised* seal and a *debossed* (or lowered) seal, leading to:

"Confirmation of Savannah Guthrie’s claim that she saw and felt a raised seal on President Obama’s alleged certified copy of his long form birth certificate, on April 27, 2011, will only confirm that the document photographed by Factcheck.org, in 2008, without a raised seal was not legally certified. And that confirmation would beg the question as to why he has a legally certified birth certificate from Hawaii now, when he did not present one to Factcheck.org in 2008.

Furthermore, a retraction from Ms. Guthrie on what she saw and felt would only indicate that President Obama has never presented an image of a legally certified copy of a birth certificate issued by the Hawaii Department of Health with the required raised seal.

In light of Factcheck.org’s error, I’ve written Ms. Guthrie and asked that she confirm whether she felt a raised/embossed seal or a lowered/debossed seal. I described for her what I have described for you, so that there is no mistake as to what I am asking her to recall."
