As a rule of thumb, Presidents don't respond well to attempted blackmail. And you might want to check with Philip Berg to find out how well the "you didn't reply when I demanded you do, so you admitted guilt" ploy worked before.

14 June - Remember the Tea Party / Birther case in New Jersey, the one with the Olde English "We the People's" and the like, that was tossed out and is now on appeals.
Well at the Pest and eFail, Padawan Pauly calls it the "Most Important Legal Case in U.S. History". And why is that??

14 June - Add Louisiana to the list of states who have seen their birther bills go paws up and assume room temperature.
" Shreveport lawmaker said Tuesday that he has given up on his effort to require presidential candidates to present an "original or certified copy" of their birth certificate as a requirement to appear on the Louisiana ballot.
Rep. Alan Seabaugh, R-Shreveport, said he decided to pull the plug on his House Bill 561 after it became clear that there wasn't enough support to get it out of committee.
"There were a lot of logistical problems" with the bill, Seabaugh said, adding that several members of the House & Governmental Affairs Committee asked him not to bring it up for a hearing. He said he might try to bring back the bill next year in a different form."
Remember just a few months ago, when the birthers were confidently predicting that so many birther bills would be passed that Obama would simply not run for reelection rather than challenge them all??

Why not, there are birthers believing the story (dunno on which birfer cesspool I read it) of one person who claims he/she talked to someone with ties to Russian intelligence back in 1992 (!) and that person was told that "in 2008, you will have a black Muslim president, and his name is Barack".
Yeah, right. Had that been published anywhere before, say, 2006, it might have raised some eyebrows. But, as always with such predictions, it's Captain Hindsight to the rescue - I can also claim I predicted the precise results of all World Series games of the last 10 years if no-one asks me where I published those before today...
