Thanks as always for the work you do to research this craziness and report it to us.

Yeah, I totally could smell the sad stench of PUMA Fail all over Mara Zebest. After all, many of the early birthers started their ODS descent into batshit crazy madness as PUMAs.

WND is looking more like a pathetic joke than ever with their latest lame action against Esquire. What a bunch of cry-babies.

That some birthers believe this will somehow give them their mythical "discovery" puts the popcorn-level entertainment back into watching the birther movement flail. Good. After all the vile sedition filth from these turds, its refreshing to see just some clownish wackery in some of their sad stories.

Sounds like those at Dr. Kate's house are pining for some Gleichschaltung and maybe some Enabling Acts. If you take the Pissed-off Veteran's comments, changing Muslim for Jew, and it also takes on the unmistakable wish for a Kristallnacht for Muslims. How do these people consider themselves Americans or Patriots?

Xyxox

The thing that gets me most about the birtherstani these days boils down to a simple question.

If it doesn't matter, as they claim, where Obama was born, why are they spending so much time and effort trying to prove the birth certificate is a fake?

The Magic M

> The bookseller saw the headline on the Esquire article below and mistakenly took it as truth.

The bookseller must have been a birther. They are known for reading only the WND headlines and not the articles, resulting in getting things even more wrong than usual.

> How do these people consider themselves Americans or Patriots?

Because they think only white conservative Christians are "real Americans". Actually, one poster over at WND said that verbatim (another mentioned WASP).

> If it doesn't matter, as they claim, where Obama was born, why are they spending so much time and effort trying to prove the birth certificate is a fake?

Because they cling to any straw they can find. If their bogus de Vattelist theory does not hold water, they still hope to "get" Obama by proving he committed fraud.

The birthers are the best entertainment available. I love reading about their crazy antics. Keep up the good work!

Thomas Brown

What is "One Pissed-off Veteran" pissed off about?

I'm guessing that it's because with a 1/2-pound brain and a 2" night-stick, he can't lure any of the local 12-year-old boys into his basement.

So WND is once again creating a new conspiracy theory...no not the birther stuff, not the Vince Foster or Ron Brown crap, and no not even anything from the Arkansas Project. No...Their new conspiracy theory is why their new crap book didn't sell well despite their method of bulk buying.

Unfortunately the answer is really simple...for once it was such a crappy conspiracy that even the snake oil salesmen Joe Farah and Corsi combined couldn't run that griff successfully.

obsolete

Yet again, the birthers are unable to find an "expert" who examined and declared Obama's LFBC a forgery who wasn't already a birther....

Not to mention, why are they so obsessed over a mere computer image? Any genuine forensics examination would focus solely on the paper Hawaii issued (and stands behind 100%).

These birther "experts" are nothing but clowns out in public without their makeup.

DaveH

@Xyxox - if it can be proven that the LFBC is a forgery, they think they can have Obama arrested since he held it up in that news conference and said it was his and hence he is complicit in the conspiracy. It's just another way their warped minds work. If anything, what gets me the most is that it was and has never been a secret that Obama's father was not an American citizen as we all know from the best seller he wrote back in the 90's.

I expect a few birther heads to explode during the campaign and there's a good possibility that there will be a huge implosion of birfer matter if Obama is re-elected.

The Magic M

> there's a good possibility that there will be a huge implosion of birfer matter if Obama is re-elected

Unfortunately, my own dream scenario can't come true anymore:

1. Some decisive state, like Florida, enacts a "birther bill" requiring a "long form BC".

2. Obama complies and is allowed on the ballot.

3. The Republican candidate cannot comply because his Democrat-controlled state only releases short forms and the government refuses to make an exception.

4. Obama thus takes the state and wins the election because of that.

(Bonus: SCOTUS affirms both the birther bill and the refusal to issue a long form to the R.)

Now *this* would have been a mess of exploding heads...
