It's going to be a lot of fun the next few months. Birther Summit has a Facebook page that has gained a new member as of today bringing the total to 193. When I read what Haskin's wrote on how to respond to people with facts, I thought it was quite childish. But then, most birfers are childish.

Somehow today, I ended up going to Conservapedia to check out what they had for a definition of Natural Born Citizen and they have the two citizen parents definition. Since that is run by Andrew Schlafly and he's big into home schooling, it is highly likely that is how most home schooled children are taught when it comes down to civics classes.

Wow, great finish, Patrick.

Every notice how these quasi-military types all just HAVE to be officers? Who the heck do they think is going to follow their orders when der Tag finally arrives? Sheesh.

(although in all fairness, none of them appear to have what it takes to lead a starving platoon to the mess hall).

Has anyone confirmed that Breivik was a Freeper? I've seen it mentioned but haven't seen solid proof yet.

My heartfelt condolences also go out to Sharon Rondeau on the loss of her father. I read what she wrote at the link you provided and it was a very moving story.

This may be the only time I ever have a chance to agree with her on anything, but I understand her position on honoring her father's Living Will and it is always hard to see families get torn apart by stuff like this. I've been through something similar when my Grandmother passed.

I get disgusted by so much of what Birthers say that it is refreshing to see some humanity outside of the crazy Birtherism nonsense being expressed, even when it is over such a personal and painful topic, such as the loss of a beloved father. May he rest in peace and may Sharon's family find a way to heal and pull together in honor of his memory.

I did find that Phyllis Schlafly said the same in a 2004 article about the Amicus Brief that the Eagle Forum submitted in Hamdi v. Rumsfeld. The issues was more on "birthright citizenship," but, if I recall, SCOTUS did not accept her interpretation.

I should clarify my above post, in fairness to the Eagle Forum:

1. She only said "citizens" not both parents are citizens. Since Obama mother was a citizen, that may apply in Phyllis's thinking.

2. She was making a point about "illegal" immigrants and birthright citizenship. Obama's father was here legally and under jurisdiction while he was here (I would argue that "illegals" are also under jurisdiction).

3. The Eagle Forum does not appear to have involved itself in any way, nor made any statements regarding eligibility and the President. Why would that be?
