In today's dispatches, Swiftboat Liar Jerome Corsi tries to double down and claim "it really is a forgery this time, honest, no really, I have proof! Well, claims by more unknown experts really.......OH! LOOK THERE!! OBOTS!!!"

Darren Huff has a court appearance, while the guy who ratted him out to the FBI, Carl Swensson, is proving himself to be the embarrassment of the Georgia GOP. Registration for birtherpoolza is now open, and look at what the birthers get for their membership (namely, squat). More whiney and demanding Post and eFail letters (boy they've gone downhill since comments were turned off.)

Ann Barnhardt continues to show herself to be not only a few french fries short of a happy meal, but missing the drink, meal, and little toy surprise as well. JB WIlliams seems to have a problem with Democracy, while "One Pissed-Off Vietnam Vet" seems to have some totalitarian ideas of his own.

We have another on-line petition and a class action lawsuit. Terry Lakin decides not to tilt at windmills and withdraws his case from appeals. Dr. Orly shows herself to be complete lowlife scum. And Dr. Kate wants "They The Idiots" to rewrite the Constitution or else.

31 July - Swiftboat Liar Jerome Corsi continues to harass debunkers.

"A radical Obama supporter who organizes an "Obama-Robot" website has admitted in online posts that WND correctly identified former chairman of Fannie Mae chairman James A. Johnson as the group's White House-associated ring-leader. William L. Bryan, who posts under the username "P.J. Foggy," is the organizer of Fogbow.com, a self described "OBOT," or "Obama-Robot" website. On his weekly "Reality Check Radio" broadcast July 21, Bryan began the show by acknowledging the veracity of the WND report.

"As far as I know [WND] got the boss," he said. "There just isn't much point to denial."

His basis for this?? A batch of posts on Facebook where Bill Bryan, AKA "Fogbow Foggy", jokes about Corsi's last claim on James Johnson. And in comments "Foggy" calls Corsi out on it.

• told his Facebook friends to call my privately owned small business and hassle my employees, by telling them "what you think of his loyalty to the Constitution".

But the roly-poly moron dipstick picked on the wrong rooster, because I got my revenge: I PWNED CORSI. Look at the headline: "Top anti-'birther' confirmed to be ex-Fannie Mae chief". Lemme ask you something, Jerome. WHO "CONFIRMED" THE STORY FOR YOU, HUH? Oh, yeah... that was me. And you fell for it, hook line and sinker. James Johnson has NOTHING to do with the Fogbow. You printed a lie. You published a FAKE STORY, and I get all the credit.

1 August - The Pest and eFail writes about Darren Huff's next court appearance.

"Several weeks ago, Mr. Huff submitted to the court a Motion to Dismiss his federal defenders, stating that they were “ineffective.” Huff reported that the attorneys had refused to file two motions on his behalf dealing with the Second and Fifth Amendments contained in the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution, respectively. Subsequently, the federal defenders filed a Motion to Withdraw, and it therefore appeared that the two parties were mutually agreeable to ending the representation.

Along with his Motion to Dismiss, Huff included the two submissions which his attorneys had not filed with the court.

However, the prosecutor, Mr. A. William Mackie, then filed two motions: a Notice of Past Acts to include the events of April 1, 2010 in Madisonville, TN, during which LCDR Walter Fitzpatrick attempted to place Gary Pettway, the Monroe County grand jury foreman of more than 20 years, under citizen’s arrest, to which Huff had been a witness; and a Motion to Strike the two motions submitted by Huff as part of his Motion to Dismiss."

Ooopsie.

"An article written by Jeff Woods on the Nashville Scene website on June 11, 2010 described Huff as an “Obama Birther” and states unequivocally that Huff “says he planned to join a mob of Obama birthers, lay siege to the town and arrest all traitors refusing to indict the president as a foreigner”

He has been told that his sin and his crimes against humanity - and make no mistake that intentionally looting and collapsing the global economy and fomenting global nuclear war may prove to be the biggest crime against humanity in scope ever perpetrated in history - are "justice". Obama, and all the rest of his cabal, MUST be punished and punished severely so that they can feel the weight of their own sin. It is only when a man FEELS that weight pressing down upon him that he will even BEGIN to repent. If a man dies without ever having repented of his sin, he is lost, and the people who refused to punish him in life due to their own self-absorbed, cowardly sentimentalism WILL BE HELD TO ACCOUNT for their lack of Charity toward the criminal, and God's Justice WILL BE SERVED."

2 August - The military law blog CAAFlog reports that Terry Lakin asked for the withdrawal of his case from appellate review, which was granted on 28 July 2011.

"By choosing to forgo his military appeals, LTC Lakin has declined to exhaust his remedies. That will almost certainly result in the foreclosure of any collateral attack on his court-martial conviction. However, that’s not an enormous sacrifice; there would have been no viable grounds for a successful collateral attack."

Since the report from the "Terry Lakin Action Fund" is that Lakin is writing a book (and since he's supposed to be a speaker at Haskin's birtherpoolza), it may be that Lakin is trying to get out from UCMJ in order to express his real opinion of the President.

I agree, Heather. I was at my dauhter’s house the other evening and so was watching rare news on the tee vee. I saw the pictures of her. They were exploiting her by taking her there. They probably told her to raise her hand at the right time to vote on the bill. My dauhter thought it was great that she could go there and vote. I said, she is brain damaged and doesn’t know what is going on. Did you notice how she could only stand for about 30 seconds and had to sit back down? They are despicable, including her husband for going along with it."

Yep, boilerplate letter to nutjob.

3 August - Swiftboat Liar Jerome Corsi comes up with yet another article. This one he tries to explain away why none of his "Adobe Experts" caught on to the fact that the Long Form PDF metadata said clearly it was created in Macintosh OS X rather than an Adobe product.

"Detailed technical analysis of the PDF file the White House released April 27 indicates it is not a scan of the original document, as claimed by the White House, but instead is the final form of an electronic file used to forge the birth certificate on Adobe software, according to reports by experts.

Failure to demonstrate how a simple computer scan can produce the effects observed in the Obama birth certificate PDF lends support to arguments that the Obama birth certificate is a forgery, the experts contend."

And just who are these "experts" ???

"According to both versions of the Obama birth certificate PDF, the metadata embedded in the PDF file documents that the PDF was created in Macintosh Preview on an Apple computer using the MacOSX operating system.

Because the PDF metadata contained no references to Adobe software, many Obama supporters have argued that Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop were not used in the creation of the PDF file."

You know, for something the birthers claim to be a "poor forgery that a third grader could have done", there seems to be a surprising amount of sophistication at hiding the "real" metadata. Unless you go with the simplest solution, which is that it was scanned into PDF using a scanner hooked up to a Macintosh, that the Image Capture programme that comes with OS X grabbed the image from the scanner, and used the Quartz imaging system that's part of OS X to create a PDF, meaning no Adobe products were used.

And yes, that process can create "layers" quite easily, especially if OCR was turned on.

What keeps me up at night---well not really that much---is that these idiots are allowed to continue. If the United States really were Communist Russia (Oily Tits homeland?) then they would be rounded up and shot.
