I suspect some will. But I suspect that Birther Report and Canada Free Press might get an upsurge in activity as some people simply will find it easier and cheaper to go to a free site instead.
I'm wondering if we're seeing the upcoming end of the Pest and eFail - or how long this will last before it becomes free again. Frankly, I can't figure out what the logic is here (we're talking birthers, so no surprise there), but what is the point to all of this??
A good chunk of the Pest and eFail's content is already sourced from other people (Sher Zieve posts at Canada Free Press, JB Williams has gone back to CFB as well, and much of the rest is birther press releases or Ron Ewarts sovcit crap.)
As for the rest, the question is going to be if $24+ a year is worth the reprinting of whiney letters, Thomas MacLeran's spittle-flected islamophobia, Padawan Pauly's latest hymn to the Sacred Sperm of American Citizenship, or breathless reports on Walter Fitzpatrick's latest haemorrhoid.

"A congressional candidate from Illinois who believes the “Holocaust never happened” is running as a Republican because President Barack Obama is an “illegal alien,” according to one of his campaign aides.
In a report published by OakLawn Patch on Tuesday, Arthur Jones charged that “the Holocaust is nothing more than an international extortion racket by the Jews.”
A campaign staffer who only wished to be identified as “Bill” told Raw Story that the candidate stood by those remarks.
“Mr. Jones is the only candidate in the entire state of Illinois, apparently, that’s not afraid to stand up to the Israeli lobby,” Bill explained, adding that Jones was only running as a Republican because the Democratic Party was even worse."
29 February - Joesph Farah seems to think the upcoming Arpaio dog and pony show is a good thing because it means the "media is finally paying attention."

Well, let's see. You have a known media whore (Arpaio) who's claiming to have "groundbreaking evidence" about the President at a time that his department is being investigated.
"The WND TV live-streaming coverage of the news conference Thursday is possible through the support of the Western Center for Journalism."

Well, since I suspect you wrote the script for Arpaio, I'm not surprised you think that way. However, you may be surprised the collective yawn if Arpaio repeats the same old tired lies and gets shown to be a laughing stock as a result.

29 February - So what do I suspect Joe Arpaio's big announcement is going to be?
I think he's going to regurgitate the World Nut Daily and Jerome Corsi talking points. I think he's going to make a whole bunch of claims about forged birth certificates, and maybe some de Vattelist commentary as well.
Which is then going be followed by pious commenting that "we tried to work with the White House and/or the State of Hawaii to disprove all of these claims, but they failed to co-operate with us, boo." Followed by Arpario reluctantly saying he "can't prove or disprove any of these claims due to White House obstructionism, but he doesn't have jurisdiction to force agencies outside his county to cooperate with him, so some federal agency will have to check out these matters, thank you, no questions at this time".
The birthers will wait for Obama to be frogmarched out of the White House, will get upset when that doesn't happen. Arpaio will end up looking like an even bigger racist fool, and World Nut Daily will crow that law enforcement "finally looked into these matters".
And absolutely nothing will change otherwise.
It is possible that, since Joe Arpaio's number one priority is Joe Arpaio, he might simply say his posse didn't find any evidence to support the birthers claims. It depends on if he feels that being an open birther will hurt or help his re-election chances.
on March 1 we will see shadow dancing in Arizona. Guaranteed!

Yes, March 1st should be quite entertaining. We see how already how much spittle and venom is coming from the Birtheristani over their string of recent losses. The meltdown after today will assuredly kick up several notches.
March 1st starts out with 2 Birther court case hearings in PA at 10am EST (both the Kercnner/Laudenschlager case that Mario Apuzzo was denied Pro Hac Vice on, as well as the Schneller case). - Expect both to be kicked to the curb rather quickly.
Then the Arpio Dog & Pony Show starts at 3pm EST. This is the "main event". My expectations are a performance of weak claims and promises, similar to the act that Trump tried to pull last year. So some sort of variation on "you won't believe what my people are finding" and similar sound and fury, signifying nothing, yet stringing the gullible Birthers out to wait for some further "report" at some undetermined later time...
Of course, that is just speculation, so who knows what Arpio's actual end game is here...

(PS. My theory about birfers hating the Occupy movement or the Arab Spring movement is that it's because it reminds them of the simple fact that if they really had "millions" who supported them, people would've taken to the streets in large numbers a long time ago. The only way to reconcile that reality with their twisted world-view is to assume that millions only march if the conspiracy allows/orders them to.)

I didn't know that parroting Jerome Corsi's lies and showing "results" from a disgruntled PUMA with no forensic document training at all counted as an "investigation".
Not only did Arpaio parrot long-since debunked lies, but he offered absolutely no proof to back any of it up.
The fact that he said he didn't plan to take this to the courts speaks volumes. He knows damn well it wouldn't stand up in court.

Did ya all miss the part about it being declared a forgery? Still, that's nothing new - the whole world already knew that. And, there's too much judicial corruption for any justice in the courts.
Where to go from here? I say arrest him, give him a choice of Leavenworth or a plane & parachute and fly him over Kenya.

Many Tea-Party and other types you mentioned are unempoloyed, retired, on welfare, food stamps, government benefits, etc.
I don't actually know any Occupy folks, so I can't speak to them.
But hard working folks come in all stripes, colors, religions and YES, ideologies. You find wealthy and successful liberals and conservatives everywhere - both white collar and blue collar.
The trailer parks are also full of tons of white, Christian conservative do-nothings living off the government's teat.

Oh yeah, I noticed the forgery claim. I also noticed no evidence was provided to back it up, the videos shown were from a "Tea Party" internet radio and posted on 14 February, the two "experts" mentioned in the report have absolutely no background, training or experience in forensic document analysis, and that every single claim that was thrown out there had been debunked long ago. (Case in point, their "Abode expert", Mara Zebest, failed to note from the very start that the original PDF wasn't created in Adobe Acrobat even though the metadata says otherwise).
The fact they created a "control document" goes against many principles of computer forensics and analysis.
And I strongly suspect if/when they release the list of "witnesses" and "experts" that provided information to the WND-paid "Cold Case Posse", you will find there is absolutely nobody on that list who would be considered anything but biased.
Oh, and BTW? Kerry released his military records in 2005.

See, here's the weird part about what Arpaio did. He made all these claims.....and yet said he didn't know what to do with them.
He's law enforcement. If the evidence supports the crimes he claims, he should know exactly what to dp with them - file charges.
He didn't. He made these claims, repeated endlessly he wasn't "accusing the president", and then did nothing with the evidence he claimed he had.
This tells me that Arpaio knows damn well his evidence would;t stand up in a court of law.

PRESIDENT Obama has the same proof of citizenship as you do Rambo Ike, and anyone else in this who is a natural born citizen. It has been pretty much shown that no matter what PRESIDENT ELECT Obama provides it will never be enough for those who reject that proof due to either racial or partisan lines. Regardless he will still be PRESIDENT ELECT, and nothing will change that.
If'n you don't like that Son than perhaps you should campaign for an opposition candidate. Lord knows it would give you dad and me time to shovel out the basement. The pile of cheetos and jars of urine are too much for us to deal with son.

On the national scene its been great news for Birther Nation and all the other patriots in America. After a very long & meticulous investigation, America's Sheriff and his Cold Case Posse, have provided irrefutable evidence proving that the phoney 0bumm0 squatting in the people's Whitehouse is using a forged birth document. I think ya all know what must be done to a person that commits a crime of this nature.
On another note: Over the past couple of weeks Patty and his flock have been given ample opportunity to provide an alternate source, other than Vattel's Law of Nations, for where America's founders came up with their idea & definition for the Article II "natural born Citizen" phrase used in the US Constitution. Since no other source has been provided, it must be concluded, by those in possession of a sane & reasonably intelligent mind, that the phrase came from Vattel's Law of Nations.

1) Arpaio provided nothing new, simply long since debunked claims by Corsi. And his "Cold Case Posse" failed to do even the basic fact checking of what Corsi provided them. The long form "analysis" was simply a copy and paste of Mara Zebest's report from eight months ago - that was completely debunked six months ago.
The fact that Arpaio refused to file his "findings" with the appropriate authorities - which, as a Law Enforcement officer he knows damn well how to do - speaks volumes for how badly be believes his "evidence" would hold up in court.
2) As for your other claim, I have provided repeated evidence to prove that the phrase "natural born citizen" did not appear in any version of de Vattel's work before 1797, ten years after the Constitution was ratified. I provided evidence to show the elements of de Vattel that go directly against the Constitution.
The fact that you refuse to accept said evidence and would rather cling to a completely false belief speaks volumes for your real intent.
You're a "concern troll", nothing more or less.
