Yeah, WND's big Hail Mary attempt to reignite their latest Swift Boat stunt (and pimp their book sales) turned out to be a spectacular failure and DUD.

Beyond the obviously terminally gullible Birthers, nobody else is buying their sham circus act. Completely Dead On Arrival.

Which is just further proof that outside of the diseased echo chambers of Birtherism, the broader populace has only become innoculated and immune to their myths over these past 4 years.

In terms of Joe Arpaio's legacy - I think you've called it correctly here - this seems to be viewed as the moment in which he has completely "Jumped the Shark"...

"Just in! Only 90 minutes after filing our opposition, the Chief Judge issues a three-page opinion granting Obama’s motion to dismiss our appeal. It seems obvious that the Court’s opinion was written before they asked us to file an opposition. ..."

Birfer logic! If the judge later (after requesting an opposition motion) came to the conclusion, that as a matter of law, the Court didn't have jurisdiction, there would be no NEED to wait for and read any opposition.

Over on HuffPo, where I continually give a shout-out for Bad Fiction, there are numerous birther/trolls who seem to have registered within the past day or so, since they register no fans. Even long-time trolls there have a number of fans, and some of them on the Arpaio post are there to be counted. Also present are long-time Arpaio fans, and they have their fans too. What's fascinating is the number of "virgins" who are asserting that Joe's "investigative report," is the real thing. By casual estimation about 50 percent of the Arpaio supporters.

I wonder how much Srff Joe got paid to write the intro to Corsi"s new book? Pecentage deal? Think his on_duty shilling was a conflict of interest?

Arpaio agreed to plug WND and Where's the Birth Certificate? in exchange for support during the DOJ investigation into his malfeasance.

The degree these birthers go to in trying to say that a massive fraud was perpetrated starting more than 50 years ago to create a man who would magically be elected to be the President of the United States with a fake birth certificate naming him the son of a young American woman and a black student from Kenya. Now I ask you who would have ever made his father an Kenyan instead of a US citizen? It makes absolutely no sense that they would have done it this way. Of course- I can't imagine they would have given him the name of Barack Hussein Obama! Surely it could have been a more "American" name! Like Tom, Dick or Harry or Truman or Franklin or even Al! These birthers have sunk so deep into birther madness I don't think there is hope for them. I fear they will forever believe this president is not legally the president and will continue to file bogus cases all over the United States- bouncing from court to court and state to state until there is either no court to file in or until the courts toss them all out on their ears or fine them so heavily that their pockets get considerably lighter.

Here is Orly's own response to another comment on her blog:

"I can try. e-mail me at (redacted)"

(Patrick's note - redacted the phone number, thanks!)

Patrick McKinnion

Bob - Redacted the phone number, but still, she asked people to email her at her phone number?? That's a special level of clueless right there.

I am an old geezer and not up on all of this new-fangled stuff; but, could she have meant send me a text to the number?
