In today's dispatches, Dr. Orly files a motion in her lawsuit against everyone who's ever told her "no". Birther blathering on a CBS-hosted blog makes the birtherstani pee on the carpet again.
John Woodman gets a real computer expect to take the WND/Dr. Orly cadre of "experts" out to the woodshed. "Beckwith" and Nellie Ristvedt aka "Butterdezillion" announce a group to investigate those pesky folks that always seem to shoot down their claims with things like "facts" and "knowledge" and "law" and "reality".
The sludge report rehashes an old lie, and the birthers go bonkers. Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery tries to tell the birthers in a way that won't make them too upset. He fails. And the media notices Joel Gilbert's attempt to see how low he can go, (which considering he can already limbo under a worm, says something)

I believe it's the judge who makes the determination of contempt of court, not Dr. Orly.

25 September - On a blog ran by CBS Local for Washington DC, Scott Paulson plays the "birther lite" college record version of "you better show us your papers, BOY!"
"The surprise of President Obama releasing his academic documents would probably even explain where all of this confusion regarding Hawaiian-born versus Kenyan-born really started. If we find he claimed to be a foreign exchange student during those college years, that information would explain when, where, and why the allegations of being born in Kenya even came up in the first place. It would explain why the initial printing of his book said he was, in fact, born in Kenya.
You see, it wasn’t Donald Trump’s fault after all – it was probably Obama’s academic records regarding his admission process into American institutions of academia that started the infamous “birther” confusion.
I’m sticking to that theory. I think the devastating information in the hidden academic documents reveal that Obama got through college as a foreign exchange student when he didn’t legally deserve that label. If he honestly deserved that label, let’s face it, he shouldn’t have been elected to be our president."
Oh, and the article has this disclaimer at the end:

26 September - The religious show "Crosstalk" interviews Dr. Orly.
26 September - John Woodman comes out of retirement for a bit. After dealing with the usual crop of wannabe "experts" like Garrett Papit and Tim Selaty, Jr., Woodman decides to get an actual professional to evaluate the work of Papit and Selaty.
The gist of Papit's claims is that there are "problems" with the “mixed raster content” compression on the long form PDF, and that proves it's a forgery. So John Woodman asked for the opinion of one Dr. Ricardo de Queiroz, Ph.D. Dr. de Queiroz is a professor at Universidade de Brasília. He and his team also hold 6 separate patents on the subject of "mixed raster content", and many of the technical papers to do with MRC have been authored by him.
His opinion?
"The question is whether all these artifacts we see after rendering the PDF of POBC are signs of forgery. I do not see that. I see them more likely as a result of inadequate processing.
The document has poor quality and it has been aggressively processed, no questions about it. The question is whether the corruptive processing was individual with the intent of forging it, or if it was automated within regular MRC segmentation.
If it was a forgery it was a very sloppy job. Any photoshop-knowledgeable person, of the garden variety, can do a much better job than that. If it is automated, it is a lousy job too, but bear in mind that algorithms for these jobs are not trained on specific documents. They were more likely developed, trained and tested on magazine pages and books. A US birth certificate is unlikely to give good results because it may be an outlier in the big picture of all documents they had in mind when developed their MRC tool."
He then goes on to discuss the artifacts in better detail, and concludes:
"In summary I can only say I see much stronger signs of common MRC algorithmic processing of the image rather than some intentional manipulation."
Woodman discusses his exchange with Professor de Queiroz in more detail, and concludes his article with:
"The bottom line? Not only is it NOT “proven” that the bitmap layers and other obvious artifacts in Obama’s PDF are the products of manual manipulation; one of the fathers of the kind of compression technology used in the birth certificate has now examined the file, and he sees no indication that the artifacts — including the multiple bitmap layers — are anything BUT the result of innocent, technological processes.
In other words: The Arpaio Posse’s most recent claims, just like their earlier claims, are worthless. And after a year and 5 months of literally dozens upon dozens of such claims by birthers, there’s still no real indication in Obama’s PDF of any kind of manual manipulation or “forgery…” at all.
Meanwhile, Joe Arpaio / Jerome Corsi / Joseph Farah / WorldNetDaily (and other birthers) continue to studiously ignore and brush aside all real and competent technical opinions in favor of whatever “expert” they can find — whether 22 years old or not — who will back the claims they want to promote."

There's something else going on: He knows that in the next 30 days or so there are probably going to be some horrible revelations about him released. It's going to be devastating and it's seriously affecting him right now. He is going to be forced to face that he is a complete and total fraud and may end up in federal prison when the smoke clears.
This makes him a very dangerous person. If he loses the election, he'll still have 10 weeks of presidency left to wreak havoc like no one has ever seen. There is nothing scarier than a lame-duck BHO.
The worst case scenario is a false-flag national emergency in the next 6 weeks where the national elections are "suspended" indefinitely. That will surely bring civil war, which could be the open door to their ultimate objective, the American Caliphate.

27 September - Think Progress reports on claims from the "Drudge Report" that people are getting free cell phones from President Obama.
"On Thursday, the Drudge Report splashed a video of an unidentified woman who claims to have received a free “Obama Phone.”The video has captured the attention of the right online, who see it as proof that Obama supporters are dependent on government. On his show today, Rush Limbaugh weighed in:
So these are the people that don’t like Romney because of what he said about 47%? No, these are the 47%!… She knows. She knows how to get this free Obama phone. She knows everything about it. She may not know who George Washington is or Abraham Lincoln, but she knows how to get an Obama phone.Thousands of conservatives are on Twitter, telling jokes about the #ObamaPhone.
There is one problem with the Obama Phone: It doesn’t exist.
The article then goes on to explain.
"Since 2009, there has been an urban myth that Obama created a program to provide free phones to low-income Americans at taxpayer expense. There is, in fact, a government program that will provide low-income people with a free or low cost cell phone. It was started in 2008 under George W. Bush.
The idea of providing low-income individuals with subsidized phone service was originated in the Reagan administration following the break-up of AT&T in 1984. 27 September - The Atlantic Wire also reports on the so-called "Obama Phone", and how the claims may have a racist tinge.

They report the same details about it being a programme that started in the Reagan administration, then goes on to note:

The Obama Phone video belongs to a genre popular on conservative blogs in which poor people, usually black, confirm conservatives' worst 47-percent fears by saying they can get something for nothing because Obama's in office. The message is, "Here's what Obama's supporters really look like."The standout in the category is "Obama money": Back in October 2009, big lines formed formed for Detroit housing assistance applications after the city underestimated how many people would show up to apply. The scene was chaotic, and local TV reported there were rumors that $3,000 checks would be handed out.

28 September - So Brian Reilly gets a rather pandering letter back from Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery.
Montgomery basically whines that he would LIKE to do something about that scary black man, but his hands are tied.

I have discussed this with the Sheriff. As for any issues regarding qualifications or information provided regarding the Presidential Election itself, that is a statewide election. Under Arizona law, the Secretary of State and the Attorney General have jurisdiction over statewide elections. I do not.
I will share with you, as well, that the criminal statute you cited in your message requires additional evidence that the MCSO investigation to date has not uncovered. Specifically, we would need evidence to affirmatively prove that Mr. Obama is not a US citizen. To date, there has been evidence presented leading to speculation that documents have been forged and other documents do not exist. That alone, though, is not sufficient evidence to present to a grand jury and actually have a reasonable likelihood of conviction. I cannot speak for other prosecutors at the state level around the rest of the country or for prosecutors at the federal level but Arizona?s ethics rules do not permit prosecutors to file a charge they can only hope to be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt at a later stage.
I stand ready and willing, however, to review any case submitted for charges and, if the evidence is there, I will prosecute regardless of who the suspect/defendant may be."
Obviously, this isn't good enough for the birtherstani, as George Miller goes off on a tear.

And it's not been "established beyond reasonable doubt". If it was, it would have been presented to the appropriate court, not gabbed about in a series of press conferences.

28 September - Michelle Goldberg at the Daily Beast reports on Joel Gilbert's festering boil of lies.
"With ‘Dreams From My Real Father,’ Have Obama Haters Hit Rock Bottom?"
Oh, I'm fairly confident they'll find a way to sink even lower.
"After four years of invective, four years during which the right has called President Obama a traitor, a communist, a fraud, an affirmative-action case, a terrorist-sympathizer, and a tyrant, its shrillest voices have been reduced to the most primal insult of all. They are calling Obama’s mother a whore."
Oh, they've been using that term for a LONG time now. James Manning used it in Summer of 2008, and so did anti-Semite Andy Martin.
"For a while now, pictures purporting to show Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, modeling in 1950s bondage and fetish porn have been floating around the darker corners of the Internet. Now, though, they’ve made their way into a pseudo-documentary, Joel Gilbert’s Dreams From My Real Father, which is being mailed to voters in swing states, promoted by several Tea Party groups and by at least one high-level Republican."
And I'd really love to know who is bankrolling it.
Gilbert has some help though.
"At the same time, Dinesh D’Souza’s latest book, Obama’s America—the first of all his works to hit the top spot on The New York Times bestseller list—has a chapter essentially calling Dunham a fat slut."
Sounds about right.
"Davis enjoyed taking nude photos of women, and the images said to be of Dunham, to which the director pays lascivious attention, are presented as evidence of their intimate relationship. “These photos were taken a few weeks before 1960, when Mom was about five weeks pregnant with me,” the narrator says. “Frank then sold the photos to men’s mail-order catalogs.”
The problem being is that the covers of the magazines shown all date back to the mid and late 50's.
"What matters here is not that a lone crank made a vulgar conspiracy video, one that outdoes even birther propaganda in its lunacy and bad taste. It’s that the video is finding an audience on the right. Gilbert claims that more than a million copies of Dreams From My Real Father have been mailed to voters in Ohio, as well between 80,000 and 100,000 to voters in Nevada and 100,000 to voters in New Hampshire. “We’re putting plans in place, as of next week, to send out another 2 [million] or 3 million, just state by state,” he told me."
I REALLY want to know who is bankrolling this.
"Gilbert won’t say who is funding this distribution, and there’s no way to verify his numbers. "
Of course not.
"D’Souza argues that part of the reason Ann Dunham sent Obama to live with her parents in Hawaii was so she could pursue affairs with Indonesian men. “Ann’s sexual adventuring may seem a little surprising in view of the fact that she was a large woman who kept getting larger,” he writes. On the next page, he continues, “Learning about Ann’s sexual adventures in Indonesia, I realized how wrong I had been to consider Barack Obama Sr. the playboy … Ann … was the real playgirl, and despite all her reservations about power, she was using her American background and economic and social power to purchase the romantic attention of third-world men.”
There is no evidence for any of this—D’Souza mentions the name of exactly one man who Dunham had a relationship with after her divorce. Even if it was true, however, it’s hard to see how it’s relevant to Obama’s supposed taste for subversion, since as D’Souza himself points out, Obama wasn’t living in Indonesia at the time. The chapter is simply an expression of glandular-level contempt. It shows that a writer once considered a legitimate conservative intellectual has been reduced to sputtering “yo mama” at our president."
When they get down into the gutter, it's not surprising that they're reduced to throwing slime.
"After the last four years, perhaps we shouldn’t expect anything more. That itself, however, is telling. In 2001, the Republican activist Barbara Olson was quoted saying, “Look at Bill Clinton’s mother, as opposed to George W.’s mother. Is your mother a barfly who gets used by men? Or is your mother a strong woman who demanded respect for her ideas and always received it?” She was widely condemned and issued an abject apology. D’Souza’s nastier words, by contrast, have barely caused a ripple. Conservative groups haven’t been scandalized by their association with Gilbert’s movie. This is who they are. There’s nothing left to be shocked about."
Which goes a long way to showing just how deep-seated the hatred and contempt the far right shows President Obama every single day. For many of these people, they're not simply offended that he's president.
They're offended by his very existence.
28 September - Slate reports on the particularly scummy tactics shown in distributing Joel Gilbert's mound of lies. (not to mention D'Souza's trip to the gutter as well.)

It's hard to imagine anyone who isn't already convinced that Obama is secretly a Kenyan-born Muslim communist radical being convinced to believe it because you called his mother a slut. This kind of sleaze always lurks at the fringes of the right. Many conservatives were absolutely convinced that Hillary Clinton was both a secret lesbian and had an affair with Vince Foster, who they believe she then murdered to cover up her wicked ways, but it didn't seem to hurt Bill on election day. The real danger in these sorts of things is that it helps contribute to a culture of paranoia on the right, which can bubble up to the top and create serious problems. Years of the Clinton rumor mill eventually spurred paranoid Republicans to push for investigations into the man, on the grounds that all this smoke meant there had to be fire somewhere. As you'll recall, those investigations then led to an impeachment on the slimmest, most embarrassing grounds imaginable. God only knows what this kind of growing right wing hysteria could mean for Obama in a second term. "
Oh, I imagine they'll go completely insane at the very idea. So much so that I really expect that most of the far-right will be openly calling for President Obama's death by 2014.

Interesting. Turns out the Romney campaign is actually being run by the same company that funded the "Borat" movies. After it is over they will admit it is a hoax and make the biggest boxoffice score ever.

Gilbert makes mockumentaries. Check out his others on NFlix. None of them are nearly as funny as the Spinal Tap movie, but he even states on his website that his productions are mockumentaries. This time, he is punking the Birthers. Who could blame him?

This might just be the funniest thing I've ever seen any birther say. Butter is the undisputed champion of adding 1+1 and coming up with coelacanth. She's the one who takes all of the verifications and says that they prove the documents aren't legally there. Those of us who live in the real world know that if Butter says it, you can be 100% sure it is nonsense.
