In today's dispatches, the Mississippi Bar Assoication makes a decision about one of Dr. Orly's complaints. Barry Ragsdale wants another chance to swat some birther. Jerome Corsi makes new claims (pulled out of his nether region), even though his street cred with his fellow birtherstan is beginning to fall.
Unlicensed Pastoral "Therapist" and thin-skinned harasser Sammie Sewell loves him some Mark McGrew. The Mississippi Democratic Party responds to Dr. Orly. George Miller takes on the birtherstani role of "Bagdad Bob". Some rather charming floatum at Dr. Orly's. And we find some more about the people behind Joel Gilbert's liefest.
But the big story is Donald Trump and his "October Surprise". Which, as it turns out, is less of a surprise and more of a "who cares?" Despite pre-"bombshell" pimping from World Nut Daily and various birtherstani.
18 October - The Mississippi Bar Association responds to Dr. Orly's complaint against Scott Tepper.
(Scribd link here)
Two words - "complaint dismissed"
18 September - Having swatted open racist Hugh McInnish before, Alabama Democratic Party counsel Barry Ragsdale asks for another chance to swat him.
(Scribd link here)
"The present petition seeks to require the Alabama Secretary of State to verify the "legitimacy" of President Barack Obama as a candidate for President of the United States. In particular, the present petition seeks to challenge President Obama's status as a "natural born citizen" based on previously discredited conspiracy theories and outlandish claims of fraudulent and forged birth certificates. Every court that has addressed these bizarre allegations has found them to be frivolous and completely without merit."
Short, sweet, and to the point.
18 October - Wonder if this is going to be Donald Trump's big news on the 24th? Because this is the latest from the human face rash……
"During the radio interview with the Senior Staff Writer at World Net Daily, Corsi discusses Obama's Senior White House adviser and Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Relations and Public Liaison, Valerie Jarrett, and ties together Jesse Jackson, and Reverend Wright as three people that would help groom Obama for the Presidency and say that the eventual marriage between Barack Obama and Michelle Robinson was not a happenstance romance.
"This has been an arranged life and marriage from almost the beginning from what I can figure for Barack Obama" Corsi stated on Ears to Hear Radio.
Also noted in the interview that Valerie Jarrett's Father-In-Law, Tom Jarrett was a Communist that worked with Obama's "mentor" Frank Marshall Davis. "
19 October - Reply Brief in Dummett v Bowen.
(Scribd link here)
"This case is what has come to be known as a "birther" case. It is virtually identical to another case handled by this Court, Noonan v. Bowen, Case No. 34-2012-80001048"
What a surprise.
"Here, the Court should make the same determination it made in Noonan. Nothing in the latest opposition brief compels a different result. Indeed, in large part the opposition appears to have been "copied and pasted" verbatim from the unsuccessful opposition in Noonan."
Also what a surprise.
22 October - The inmates at Birther Report are still underwhelmed by Donald Trump.
"★FALCON★124p · 1 day ago
This better be good. I've had enough of Trump's shenanigans over the last year.
Unless he has the People's Paradise of New Mombasa Birth Certificate - it's not going to matter much."
Of course, some still see Trump as their Great White Hope.
"Bloodless Coup · 20 hours ago
I think Donald Trump's announcement has to do with Jerome Corsi's discovery of divorce papers that were prepared by Michelle Obama (while Obama was still a senator) These papers state that Obama was having homosexual affairs during their marriage."
"Ralph Swain · 18 hours ago
It's that and the fact that Obama was questioned about child molestation when he taught Sunday school in Chicago."
Of course….
"O must go · 7 hours ago
I won't be holding my breath until I actually see those "papers". Corsi has a history of making stuff up about "documents" he never shows.
He's been doing his best to destroy all credibility of the "birther" movement with the last two months of publishing every far-out smear you can possibly think of, not to mention the ridiculous "Muslim ring" story.
And you're actually relying on this scam artist who's working for himself only, just like Arpaio, as we have found out by now?"
22 September - So remember that rather overtly racist rant that Mark McGrew published in Pravda OnLine on the 19th??
Well, Steady Drip and unlicensed pastoral "therapist" Sammie Sewell seems to think it was the cat's pajamas, adding his own commentary.
"Many of us have dealt with Obama’s thugs on forums. We have had our computers attacked by nasty people with nefarious intentions. We have had threats, insults and profanity posted on our blogs and received emails with the same bottom feeder tactics. Their leader has set the example with thuggish behavior and trash talk of his own"
This coming from the same Sam Sewell who published information about me (most of it incorrect), called me the "face of evil", harassed me on-line, and faked a national MENSA position he didn't actually hold to email my employer to try and get me fired. (After boasting on line that he was going to do just that).
Some how, his pious claims of "threats, insults and profanity", "bottom feeder tactics", and "thuggish behavior" fails to impress me. Except maybe to show just what a flaming hypocrite he is.
"The “progressive movement” has shown itself to be a cesspool of intolerant bullies. The trademark personal insult, name calling, ridicule, and ad hominem attacks characterize the debate style of Obama’s people"
Projection much Sam? Because that's exactly what you tried to do to me, and you've tried to do with every debunker who has gotten you upset or angry.
"Decent people do not think or behave that way. "
No they don't. So what's your excuse for acting exactly in the ways you villify??
Though it's good to see Sammie is finally letting his racist freak flag fly.
22 October - The Mississippi Secretary of State files a Motion in Support of Judgment on the Pleadings.
(Scribd link here)
"Plaintiff Taitz has since attempted to comply with the Court’s orders by filing some documents on October 15, 2012.1 Taitz’s papers lack a coherent explanation regarding Plaintiffs’ putative RICO claim and contain no valid response to the Secretary of State’s dispositive motion. The Secretary of State’s Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings should now be granted, and the claims against him dismissed with prejudice."
I'm going to assume they're not impressed with the legal prowess of the Nitrous Queen.
"Nevertheless, assuming Plaintiff Taitz properly filed her challenge on April 1, it had to be followed by filing a petition in Circuit Court no later than April 15, 2012. See MISS. CODE ANN. § 23-15-963(4) (Circuit Court petition must be filed within fifteen days regardless of action or inaction on petition to committee). Plaintiff Taitz’s Amended Complaint – i.e. Taitz’s petition to Circuit Court under Section 23-15-963(4) – was filed on April 19, 2012.3 Plaintiff Taitz’s general election challenge petition was filed at least four days too late. Thus, no court has jurisdiction to adjudicate it.4
Furthermore, the Amended Complaint was not accompanied by the requisite $300 bond. See MISS. CODE ANN. § 23-15-963(4). Plaintiff Taitz claims that bond was not paid because a bond had previously been paid for her primary election challenge. The two bond requirements are separate requirements, contained in separate statutes. See MISS. CODE ANN. §§ 23-15-961, -963. Failure to pay the bond is fatal to the general election claim, and Plaintiff Taitz’s excuse that she will pay another bond now does not save it.5 For either reason, untimeliness or failure to include the requisite bond, the general election challenge must be dismissed."
Dr. Orly - "Deadlines? What is this deadlines you are to be babbling about?? Don't you know that there's a SCARY BLACK MAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE?? SCREECH!!!!"
"Plaintiff Taitz’s response does not articulate why this long settled rule of law does not apply in this case. Instead, she cites some apparently unreported judicial proceedings in Alaska and California, an instance where Secretary of States removed someone from a Presidential ballot that “did not go to court,” and the Supreme Court’s decision in Bush v. Gore, 531 U.S. 98 (2000).6 Her apparent contention is that Secretaries of State have generally been ordered to do things by courts in the past, so this Court can order him to do something in this case. That contention wholly lacks merit."
Not to mention lacking on common sense or reality.
"Plaintiffs originally – and unequivocally – disclaimed pursuit of any RICO claims against the Secretary of State. See First Amended Complaint at p. 4 (the “Secretary of State is NOT being sued in RICO causes of action”), Ex. “A” to Docket No. 1. Plaintiff Taitz’s Response to the Secretary of State’s Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings, and her purported RICO Statement, now apparently contend otherwise."
What a surprise, Dr. Orly lied.
"Further, in the middle of Taitz’s garbled accusations of fraud and other alleged misdeeds against President Obama, Attorney General Holder, United States District Judge Clay D. Land, Cable News Network, and numerous others, the RICO Statement asserts
Fraud by Defendants Secretaries of States of Mississippi, California, Georgia, New Hampshire, West Virginia, as well as Ballot law commission of New Hampshire.
Well, "garbled" is one word for it.
"These accusations fall woefully short of pleading, or even articulating, any basis for a federal RICO claim against the Secretary of State."
"Plaintiff Taitz’s jumbled allegations do not even satisfy the most basic requirements for pleading a RICO claim."
*Snork*
23 October - We have the transcript from Dr. Orly's 26 September 2012 court appearance in Indiana.
(Scribd link here)
Once again, Dr. Orly's claims about the court appearance doesn't match the transcript.
23 October - Part four of "A Legal Lohengrin's" eyewitness report on Dr. Orly's Indiana Birther Ballot Jihad hearing.
"Orly asks when she can get a transcript. Judge Reid, with a sour look, tells her to sort it out with the court personnel. Yes, Judge Reid, Orly will be spreading the circus she held in your court room, with your blessing, to courts all over the country as she continues to spread her pestilence. I hope you are proud of yourself.
The hearing is closed at 1:03. I immediately leave, go home and vote for Obama. Good luck with that injunction, Orly."
23 October - And finally, Part five
23 October - World Nut Daily plays 20 questions about the so-called "bombshell" that Tribble Mobility Scooter Donald Trump is supposed to release on Wednesday, 24 October.
"A top aide to Donald Trump says the billionaire will reveal a secret about Barack Obama on Wednesday – probably on Twitter – that could of interest to “millions of Americans.”
The confirmation came today to WND from Mike Cohen, Trump’s assistant, who confirmed that only three people know what Trump will reveal: Trump, his wife, and himself.
But he also confirmed that the revelation “has nothing to do with drug usage,” in contradiction to several published reports today that said it involved claims Obama dealt drugs during college."
Cohen said the announcement is planned to be made on Twitter tomorrow, and Trump himself sent the tweet, “Everybody is asking about my announcement this Wednesday concerning Barack Obama – just wait and see!”
So let's see:
Jerome Corsi gets on Romney's campaign press corps.
Soon afterwards, Romney surrogate Donald Trump (who has worked with Corsi and World Nut Daily) make an "October Surprise" claim
Then Joseph Farah nudges it along via twitter.
And now World Nut Daily plays 20 questions on it..
I smell ratfuckery.
23 October - The Mississippi Democratic Party's Reply in Support of the Judgement on the Pleadings motion.
(Scribd link here)
"While Taitz attaches an exhibit that purports to be a copy of the Federal Express air bill #8769 2956 3811, hand dated “02092012”to support her claim of a February 9 mail date, the package, which was marked “priority overnight,”was not received by the court until February 14. Compare ECF 50 at 12 with State Court Docket [ECF6 at 3]. Further, Federal Express tracking system indicates that that the package at issue (air bill #8769 2956 3811)was not shipped until February 13, 2012. See Exhibit B. Thus, Taitz’s own exhibits, the information referenced therein, and the state court record directly contradict her claim that she mailed the petition on February 9"
What a surprise, Dr. Orly lied. Again.
"Taitz’s argument that mootness should not apply because the “delay was not caused by the Plaintiffs but by the[p]residing judge in the Circuit court, Judge Coleman” is disingenuous given that she failed even to obtain valid summonses until March 15, after the primary had taken place."
If Dr. Orly's dental skills are on par with her legal skills, it's amazing she hasn't accidentally given somebody a vasectomy during a root canal.
"Taitz’s “papers please” and heritage-based claims purporting to expand the constitutional requirements beyond the stated requirement that the President be a “natural born citizen” fail as a matter of law since there are no such additional requirements. (JOP Memo at 12-17). Similarly, Taitz’s claim that this Court may remove President Obama from the 2012 general election ballot due to purportedly invalid identification papers is patently frivolous. (JOP Memo at 17-21.) Again, notwithstanding a nearly fifty-page Opposition, Taitz has failed to provide any legal support for her demand for a declaratory judgment and injunctive relief on these issues and fails even to acknowledge – much less distinguish – the overwhelming authority cited by the MDEC that demonstrated just how baseless her claims are."
*Chuckle*
"In addition to the overwhelming authority provided in the JOP Memo in May, a number of additional courts have flatly rejected the birther arguments at the heart of the FAC. For an updated list of collected birther cases, see www.tiny.cc/BirtherScorecard or http://tesibria.typepad.com/whats_your_evidence/BIRTHERCASELIST.pdf "
Oh, SCORE!
"Although Taitz is an attorney who has been licensed to practice by the State of California since December 2002, and has had more than six months to prepare the TRS [ECF 49], it is an unresponsive, incomprehensible, and nonsensical “word salad”9 that demonstrates nothing more than Taitz’s determination to continue her malicious and frivolous use of the courts to further her political smear campaign against the President – and anyone who dares to reject her fantastical delusions. "
Oh dear. They're a wee bit grumpy.
"The TRS, while as vague as her FAC,10 baldly asserts an even broader nationwide conspiracy than asserted in the FAC – one which involves dozens of non-defendants including various Obama Administration officials, Secretaries of State from around the country, media personalities, one of the MDEC’s attorneys in this case, anonymous internet posters who have criticized her or called her names, unidentified court law clerks, attorneys, and other employees, and the Federal judge who sua sponge sanctioned her $20,000 for her prior misconduct in birther litigation.11 According to Taitz, all of these people are involved in a vast conspiracy to fool people into believing that President Obama is eligible for his office, to prevent her from succeeding in this and related litigation, and to defame and harass Taitz and her supporters. Setting aside the utter implausibility of a conspiracy – stretching from the Northeast to the Hawaiian Islands and including cast of hundreds – Taitz has failed to allege adequately a single required element of her purportedRICO claim, for the reasons already stated in the JOP Memo."
Basically, "Your honor, Dr. Taitz is nuttier than a Squirrel Outhouse"
"For all the reasons set forth herein and in the MDEC’s JOP Motion [ECF 15] and accompanyingJOP Memo [ECF 18], the FAC must be dismissed in its entirety, with prejudice. 16 The MDEC respectfully requests, however, that upon dismissal the Court retain jurisdiction in order to consider a motion for monetary sanctions against Taitz pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1927."
Can we has sanctions now, PLEASE!!!!
23 October - George Miller at "Obama Ballot Challenge" posts a list that reads more like a pathetic attempt at going "see, we really DID win! We did! You can see it, right?? We won we won! YAY!! *Sob*"
"What Has Eligibility Movement Accomplished?"
Squat.
"Our opponents say we have failed."
And we would be right.
"We have failed to get a favorable ruling so far…"
And if it hadn't been for pesky things like "facts", and "rule of law" and "the US Constitution", and "reality", you might have won.
You know, this is like saying "We would have won the Indy 500, if it hadn't been for the fact we were in a rusted out Yugo with four flat tires and squirrels in the engine."
"Unearthing much of AKA “Obama’s” dirty laundry"
Most of which you made up.
"Establishing that he is in fact ineligible (although we couldn’t get the courts to rule for us)"
Which basically boiled down to four years of birthers stamping their feet and going "He's not eligible! He's Not! He's Not! He's Not! He's Not! He's Not!!!! Wahhhh! MOMMY!!!"
"Complile list of “Obama” eligibility enablers, including putative “allies” and a list of our true allies"
By which they mean "anyone who they disagree with".
"Lay the groundwork for future legal action"
A (blank) and their (blank) are soon (blank).
"Determine weaknesses in statutes/court precedents to uphold Constitutional eligibility mandate."
Haven't we been hearing this for four years now?
"Using all of this knowledge to further undermine “Obama” and mobilize sentiment against him, making his election loss more likely"
So, instead of people laughing at you, you want people laughing REALLY HARD at you. Got it.
"We never would have dreamed a few years ago that things would have come to this awful state of affairs and certainly never thought we’d be associated with an organization with “Obama” in its name."
Translation - "Wahh!! We never thought a black man would be President!!" WAHHHH!"
Hey George? You want to see how much you've failed?? Take a look at the name of your own website! How many of those "ballot challenges" have succeeded? Remember all those confident predictions that President Obama wouldn't even be on the ballot this year?? He was on my ballot, which was just submitted to my county registrar.
How many of your "challenges" did anything more than waste people's money?
Here's a hint, "zero".

If only Arpaio, Zullo, Farah, Sampson and that inky ilk had the courage to attend. To testify under oath. To be cross-examined by you. To be heard in open court.
These characters have profited in the MILLIONS. But when push met shove today, they ran away like frightened mice.
Why can we not FORCE Arpaio and Zullo to testify? Drag them in chains, if necessary. They like putting other people in chains. Maybe if they got a taste of their own medicine, these sneaky types wouldn’t be so quick to run away from you and your many subpoenas and court cases.
Arpaio and Zullo have PROVEN themselves to be cowards.
They did so again today. And they smirk all the way to the bank. Meantime, Orly does ALL the heavy lifting. For once, we cannot blame Obama for Arpaio’s cowardice.
Shame on all those who should have testified today, but refused to do their patriotic duty."

24 October - So what was the Tribble Mobility Scooter's "October Surprise"? Trump channeling his inner Dean Haskins and offering $5 million to charity if President Obama releases his college and passport applications.
No, seriously.
The thing with Trump's little challenge is this - the records have to be to TRUMP's satisfaction. There's nothing President Obama can release that would make Trump happy.
We saw this in 2011. For three years the litany was "why hasn't Obama released his long form birth certificate". President Obama did. Within hours there were people claiming it was a forgery. Nothing President Obama releases will make any of these people happy.
I've said in the past that the whole college records thing is basically birtherism light. They're trying to show that either a) President Obama got financial aid as a foreign student, or b) that his grades weren't good enough to get into Columbia and Harvard and therefore he was an "affirmative action" student.
Basically it's a modern version of "you better show us your papers, BOY!"
*gag*
24 October - I guess World Nut Daily has to salvage something from Trump's "October Surprise"
"Billionaire Donald Trump today offered Barack Obama a check for $5 million for his choice of charities if he would produce his college and passport records.
In an announcement that had been promoted on social media for days, Trump released the above video with the offer.
“We know very little about our president,” he said. “I have a deal for the president.”
“If Barack Obama opens up and gives his college records and applications, and if he gives his passport applications and records, I will give to a charity of his choice – inner city children in Chicago, American Cancer Society, AIDS research – anything he wants a check immediately for $5 million,” he said.
Trump set a deadline of 5 p.m. on Oct. 31."
24 October - The Onion gives their own satire spin on Trump.
"In a blockbuster announcement today, Donald Trump announced that he is a very sad man who has nothing to live for other than drawing attention to himself. "I'm a sad, pathetic human being and a complete waste of life," said Trump, adding that he lives an empty existence, and that he is nothing more than a corporate shill, as well as a failed husband, father, and human being. "I am the piece of shit you stepped in on your way to work. I am the vomit that hurls out of your mouth when you are sick. I want to kill myself very badly. Thank you." Trump then slit his throat from ear to ear."
24 October - Politico reports on Trump's "October Surprise".
"White House senior advisor David Plouffe said in response, “Direct those questions to Boston because Donald Trump is Mitt Romney’s biggest supporter, so he owns everything he says.”
*Chuckle*
"Without any evidence, conservatives have attacked the president’s time at Columbia University for years, alleging there must something suspicious in his college records."
As I said before, "show us your papers, boy!"
24 October - The Huffington Post reports on Jerome Corsi's fading credibility, and debunking Joel Gilbert's liefest.
"Corsi went on to note that "Dreams from My Real Father producer Joel Gilbert, an Arabic speaker and an expert on the Middle East, was the first to conclude that Obama's ring, reportedly from Indonesia, bore an Islamic inscription."
Corsi's boss, WND editor Joseph Farah, was eager to promote this story, wondering in an Oct. 10 column why nobody else was covering Corsi's big scoop. The story is "off the charts in terms of readership," according to Farah, but "the self-appointed information cops" won't touch it. He then declared: "I don't know about you, but I think this is an important story -- maybe one of the biggest of the presidential election year. That it had to wait so long to be told reflects the inherent mystery still surrounding the man in the White House and a hapless press just too afraid to go certain places in the pursuit of the truth."
Farah has inadvertently hit upon the problem with Corsi's story -- it's not true. And the people who debunked it were the last people one would expect to contradict anything Corsi or WND reports: birthers."
Oh dear.
"That prompted Corsi to pen a follow-up article responding to the Birther Report's then-unnamed expert, in which Gilbert insisted that he "made no alteration whatsoever" to the pattern on the ring. Corsi made no mention of the high-resolution image, but he noted that his original article "was picked up today by the Saudi-owned paper Al-Arabiya."
In response, the Birther Report unveiled its "computer software and graphics expert" -- it's none other than Mara Zebest, a birther who made a supporting appearance alongside Corsi last year at WND's press conference announcing its defamation lawsuit against Esquire magazine (which was recently booted out of court). Corsi touted Zebest in a 2011 WND article as "a nationally recognized computer expert who has served as contributing author and technical editor for more than 100 books on Adobe and Microsoft software.""
How very, very awkward.
"Richard Bartholomew noted that anti-Muslim activist Pam Geller, who initially blogged in support of Corsi's article, apparently deleted that post without explanation."
Which, considering she still touts "TechDude", says something right there.
"Corsi has not written a thing about the ring story since Zebest was revealed as his critic."
But I bet she's off his holiday card list.
"But blogger Loren Collins has utterly demolished Gilbert's claims in a seven-part series demonstrating Gilbert's falsehoods and history of mendacity. Perhaps most importantly, Collins shot down the claim that Ann Dunham posed for Davis by proving that photos that Gilbert claims are of Dunham were actually published in an erotica magazine when Dunham was 15 years old -- years before she and her family moved to Hawaii -- and are of a woman considerably older than 15.
Collins also made a videotaped debunking of the photo claim. Collins explains that Gilbert apparently tried to suppress the video by filing a frivolous copyright claim against it that temporarily removed it from YouTube (despite Collins' usage of a clip from an ad for Gilbert's film -- not from the film itself -- clearly falling under fair use). Collins removed the offending section and re-posted the video.
So Gilbert clearly knows about Collins' work to the extent that he tried to keep others from seeing it. But so far, Gilbert has not responded publicly to it. And you know what that means -- Corsi and WND will ignore it as well."
Yeah, it's funny how Farah and Corsi seem to have a deep-seated pathological hatred of things like "facts" or "the truth".
"In 2008, Corsi traveled to Kenya in search of something to smear Obama with. All he brought back were documents purporting to link Obama to Kenyan leader Raila Odinga that were clearly fraudulent. He's still at it, but he's no more truthful now than he was then -- and even the birthers are catching on."
It's actually impressive. Some of the birtherstani actually have started to think that maybe, just maybe, not every lie about President Obama is believable.
24 October - So here's what I would like to see:
"Dear Mr. Trump -
I will be happy to release my college and passport application if you are willing to allow zoologists to perform DNA tests to determine what species of roadkill you're wearing on your head.
The question of what undead varmint is attached to your scalp is one that many Americans have been asking about for many years now. Allowing skilled biologists to classify the species and phylum of your cranial parasite would put many of those questions to rest, and make many Americans very happy.
Sincerely
President Barack Obama".

Trump has again secured a victory for "Obama".
One of the following will happen:
(1) "Obama" does nothing, the media paint Trump as idiot Romney campaign member and "Obama" gets more votes.
(2) "Obama" releases the (forged?) records and appears as the guy who pranked the prankster. If Trump then yells "forgery", it will only enforce those who think our movement consists of idiots anyway.
(3) "Obama" donates $5 million to charity and asks Trump why he doesn't do the same but hides behind silly demands.
Either way, "Obama" wins. I bet his cheque to Trump is in the mail already."
"maraz · 45 minutes ago Something no one is commenting on but something to think about. Trump must know Obama doesn't care about charity… so why would he say this is an offer he can't refuse?ANSWER Because if Obama ignores this request and then he's exposed to his base for not caring about cancer or the sick or all the causes the Left say they care about.
So even though the offer is lame… if it gets attention… and Obama doesn't help with a challenge that would benefit charity… then will the Obamabots notice this hypocrisy?"

Oh, boy! I can't wait to see the college and passport records.
Incidentally, I wonder who's creating them. Certainly not the same fool who forgot to flatten his pdf file before uploading it for all the world to access. ??? Hey, Choom Gang! I could do a much better job than the idiot who did the lfbc and I could certainly use the money. Call me."

Exactly. Unless they are released directly by the universities (& state dept. in the case of passport records) and the documents are certified with their official raised seal embossments, then you can bet they are fraudulent and will keep people's wheels spinning for the next three years.
Trump didn't specify any of that for a reason: He has set us up for a very big fall."
All in all, most of them sound rather annoyed.
24 October - So while we still don't know who Joel Gilbert's sugar daddy is, we do know who did the focus group testing for the film and found said sugar daddy.
Namely Fox News pollster and GOP dirty trickster Frank Luntz.
"Luntz won’t say who commissioned his anti-Obama focus group, and he reportedly counseled his client to go with a milder anti-Obama film by conservative Stephen K. Bannon. That’s showing up on cable television stations in swing states soon. Another film screened was Dinesh D’Souza’s fantasy “Obama: 2016,” which Luntz said didn’t test well with voters.
But the lurid anti-Obama film is showing up in mailboxes in Ohio and Florida. It purports that Obama’s real father is the leftist Frank Marshall Davis, and it claims to have found photos of Ann Dunham in bondage magazines. It’s the creation of Joel Gilbert, reports Jeremy Peters in the New York Times, a conservative who has claimed he found Elvis Presley alive in a witness protection program and that Paul McCartney is actually dead. Gilbert wouldn’t disclose the donors behind his film and its distribution though he claimed he was sending out 4 million copies. He taunted Peters for being part of a mainstream media that hasn’t adequately vetted Obama, saying, “I hope you’re not angry or jealous that I beat you to it and might win the Pulitzer Prize.”
Gilbert is such a modest class act.
"Luntz claimed his client had doubts about the political wisdom of backing the Gilbert film, and that their approach to Luntz’s work was, “I want to know if it’s as bad as I think it is.” Still, the idea that the Fox News consultant is part of testing the most lurid anti-Obama messages in a season full of them is kind of appalling. But it shouldn’t be surprising."
No. No it shouldn't.
"That Luntz would take money to test such garbage shows the depths to which mainstream Republicans are going in their effort to defeat Obama."
And yes, yes it does.

These people waiting breathlessly for Trump's big announcement take me back to the days when they were waiting breathlessly for the "whitey tape" to be released by API. The same people have waited breathlessly for every big "revelation" by one charlatan after another, right up to Sheriff Joe's big announcements and now this dump from Trump.
Supposedly the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect to see a different result. I think that's the definition of being a sucker.

By the way, Patrick, did you hear the President's joke about Trump? When Jay Leno asked him last night what was Trump's problem, the President said:
"This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya. We had constant run-ins on the soccer field."
I know I commented earlier that the President should ignore Trump completely, but this is better. The best approach to these people is the one that you and Obama both take: to laugh in their faces.

In 1960, a black penis entered a white vagina and Gnome Corsi still hasn't gotten over it.

"... and the Federal judge who sua sponge sanctioned her $20,000 for her prior misconduct in birther litigation."
Quite a perceptive neologism, given that Orly was separated at birth from her twin, SpongeBob SquarePants.
