And today's dispatches continue to document the slow slide downhill the birtherstani are facing. Only last month they were confidently predicting that Obama would be removed and/or arrested soon due to the pressure Donald Trump was bringing on him, Corsi's new book, and the Kreep/Orly appeals court road show.
What a difference a month brings. While many are still confidently predicting that Corsi's upcoming liber lutum will result in Obama fleeing this country, the remaining birtherstani (who seem to be dropping in numbers based on the polls), are either going de Vattel and demanding everyone else join them, trying to find some long-dead and disproven birther claim to rally behind again, or else are piling on the crazy even more.
It's become a matter of faith the long form is a forgery done by the White House (which doesn't explain why the State of Hawaii continues to verify it as legitimate), that Obama had nothing to do with the capture and death of Osama bin Laden, since *everyone* knew bin Laden actually died under the Bush administration, and anyway the whole thing was a wag the dog false flag operation to scuttle Donald Trump and hide the REAL issue of Obama's obvious crimes.
At least according to the birthers. Those of us in the reality based community have a different viewpoint.
Anyway, "Reason" wades into the birther fray. CEL3 plans to run for office, while commenting on Dr. Orly's appeals court visit. Dr. Kate continues to polish both her conspiracy and her white supremacist street cred. Gov. Bobby Jindal publishes his COLB. If he was expecting to be treated differently than Obama in this regard, the de Vattelists soon set him straight.
Polland/Polarik excretes a new video. Dr. Kate has a problem with Bobby Jindal (more than likely to do with the colour of his skin.) Donald Trump seems to be imploding, bleeding off support. The birthers demand that Trump immediately double down on the birtherism in response.
The Pest and eFail's local cranky vietnam vet projects his fears and demands on the birther debunkers. Dr. Orly sees revolution as the only answer. Joseph Farah's bright shiny new toy is the Indonesian citizenship myth. Dr. Kate seems to think anything that shows Obama as Presidential is obviously a photoshop. The Pest and eFail talks to an "Internet Engineer" about the long form, and gets cranky over a dose of their own medicine.
29 April - The Libertarian website "Reason" has an article on "What's Behind the Birther Nonsense?"
"To true believers in a conspiracy theory, evidence disproving the conspiracy only proves how vast the conspiracy really is. And sure enough, it took all of two nanoseconds Wednesday morning before birthers began questioning the legitimacy of the long-form certificate. "The signatures on the bottom have white around them like they were erased," noted one of many doubters on the Free Republic website."
Well, they WERE looking at ways to debunk a long form back in 2009....
"Among their number, no doubt, are all those Hawaiian officials who are covering up the vast, decades-long conspiracy—a conspiracy so far-sighted that it planted fake birth announcements in the newspapers half a century ago. Because, you know, even three years before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 required hotels and restaurants to serve black people, the conspirators knew America one day would elect a black president, and they were going to make darn sure it was that Obama kid from Kenya. Sounds completely plausible!"
The irony here is that to the birtherstani, it DOES sound completely plausible!
"Before the Bush ("Regime change begins at home!") administration was the Clinton administration—itself the subject of a variety of conspiracy theories involving Oliver North, drug cartels, and the "murder" of Vince Foster. Not to mention an impeachment trial ostensibly about lying under oath that really was more about the fact that Republicans hated Clinton with a passion hotter than the hinges of hell."
What they don't mention is a lot of the people pimping birtherism were involved in the various Clinton conspiracy theories as well.
29 April - And a second "Reason" article, this time claiming Obama should have ignored them.
"The lesson, though, is that those who want to disqualify a president on such an issue—rather than persuading voters that he should be rejected for his schizophrenic policies—will not be satisfied by the “long form” release, as the proliferation of blog posts “analyzing” the authenticity and “layers” of the released document quickly demonstrated. Indeed, many Americans have little time for the tedious realities and complexities of politics, preferring digestible conspiracy theories that explain the awfulness surrounding us in a 10 minute YouTube video. (Though many of the conspiracy mongers, rather than the casual consumers, offer needless complex connections between George Soros, the Koch brothers, Bechtel, the Carlyle Group, and the Federal Reserve.)"
1 May - Charles E. Lincoln III seems to have the political bug, Or is scamming, one of the two.
"I see my own politics as more a derivation of the time of Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe"
Well, maybe Jefferson Davis.....
"So if I run for United States Senator in 2012, it will be as a Democratic-Republican Constitutionalist, and since there are no parties planned for the February 2012 election, I will just state my basic positions and as time goes by articulate the ways in ways and on which issues I would most strongly disagree with the incumbent
"
Going for the "wingnut coo-coo" vote?
"Now, even though I have a place right next door to UCLA, I doubt that the University of California will support me, and especially because I am a former lawyer, who opposes the State Bar and legal monopoly generally"
Because "former lawyer" sounds much better than "disbarred felon"
"I am unlikely to receive any significant support from members of the legal profession. On the other hand, the Entertainment and Movie Industry? Well, in the past five years I’ve dated one B-/C+ Movie Actress, one or two or three “models” and…. yeah there was that former swimsuit model from Israel too, but I suppose I shouldn’t really count on her support….ehem….. "
SNORK!!
2 May - Reason Magazine points out why the birthers aren't going away anytime soon.
"It was too much to expect that birthers, presented with President Barack Obama's birth certificate, would say: "What surprising and wonderful news! We'll have to reassess our entire opinion of him." When it comes to matters of blind faith, cherished beliefs have a way of overriding facts.
There has never been a shred of persuasive evidence that Obama was born anywhere but Hawaii. But thanks to rampant paranoia and widespread credulity, the myth of his foreign origins gained currency among many people who should know better."
True.
"They even believe he's an inarticulate dunce who got into Ivy League schools only because of affirmative action and can't utter an intelligible sentence without a teleprompter. Never mind that he graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and taught at another premier university, the University of Chicago."
Gee, sounds like what you see at Dr. Kate's cesspool.
"Birthers don't dislike Obama because they think he was born abroad. They think he was born abroad because they dislike him. People of this bent don't proceed from facts to a conclusion. They prefer to reach a conclusion and then scrounge for any facts—or "facts"—that support it.
For them, being told Obama is a natural-born American is like being told he's a loving father and a loyal friend. They won't buy it because it doesn't confirm what they want to be true."
Also true. Just about every claim in birtherstan is based on the assumption that such-and-such a theory is true, and then cherry-picking "facts" to prove it, while ignoring the piles of data that contradict that theory.
3 May - LA City Watch comments on the birthers and the general obsession with identity.
"President Obama’s release of his birth certificate, to answer unfounded suspicions about his place of birth, was widely described as an extraordinary act. It wasn’t. Unreasonable demands for birth records are becoming a routine feature of American life.
We like to think that, as Americans, the circumstances of our birth don’t matter. But increasingly we’re acting as if the circumstances of our neighbor’s birth sure do matter – we’ve become obsessed with birth certificates. This obsession predates the Obama presidency, but it is metastasizing now, as fraying social ties, hyper paranoia about security, and fears of cheating combine to undermine our trust in our fellow citizens.
These days, Americans, depending on where they live, can be required to produce birth certificates as a condition of going to school, taking exams, marrying, opening bank accounts, carrying a driver’s license, holding a passport, obtaining a Social Security card, voting or standing for elected office. Don’t even think of enrolling in kindergarten without a birth certificate, now that strict, new legal deadlines have replaced parental judgment as the basis for when children can start school. As youth sports and competition grow more serious and pre-professional, your child may not be able to play unless you’re willing and able to produce her official birth certificate. And if your skin color or name makes you seem foreign you’d be wise, sadly, to keep your birth certificate close at hand for all sorts of reasons. "
6 May - Remember Dr. Kate's radio show talking about white supremacist attorney Edgar Steele??
Well, look what Dr. Kate felt was good enough to pass though her moderation:
"Tenacity
May 6, 2011 at 10:17 am
Edgar Steele found guilty on all 4 counts in Boise. Sad day when a jury of your peers are so brain-soiled or stacked with gov agents that they enforce a lie against a patriot. Another political prisoner…when are people ever going to wake up? The alleged victim was the best witness for the defense and Steele is still found guilty. In the mean time, the thief and bomb-making FBI informant is still on the street. Very sad day indeed!"
Again Dr. Kate, if you don't want people to think you're racist, stop allowing racist comments to rest unchallenged in your blog.
6 May - Gov. Bobby Jindal releases a copy of his birth certificate. (Though it says "Certificate of Live Birth. Funny thing that.)
"They arrived Feb 1, 1971, and a bit over six months later, on June 10, 1971, Piyush Jindal was born at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, a natural-born U.S. citizen, who like every other child born in America, could, constitutionally, grow up to be president."
Watch the birthers go "NO! ARGGGH!!! DE VATTEL!! DE VATTEL!! DE VATTEL UBER ALLES!!!
And sure enough:
"Tenacity May 07, 2011 at 8:22PM
The Law of Nations clearly states that a Natural Born Citizen is: "The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens." This means that only a baby born on the soil of parents who were citizens at the time of the birth is a Natural Born Citizen. This is the highest form of citizenship and requires that the citizen has undivided and unalienable allegiance to the United States. NBC means a citizen by no other means but natural. Naturalized citizens and dual citizens are NOT natural-born. This strict form of citizenship is only required to be President (Commander in Chief) or Vice President.
Obama Jr's father was a British/Kenyan citizen at the time of Barry's birth. That means he was at best a dual citizen when born regardless of where he was born. Thus, by his own admission, he is NOT a natural-born citizen of the U.S. We have no president at this time and are facing a huge constitutional crisis. This will be an interesting week with Trump, Corsi and the treason charges filed by Cmdr Walt Fitzpatrick with 2 Federal Grand Juries in Knoxville."
"Interesting week" eh? Trump has been silent, Corsi's book is in freefall even before it's been released, and Mr. Fitzpatrick might just find several other grand juries ignore his pronouncements.
"Sidney_Allen Johnson_837 May 07, 2011 at 9:12AM
Actually, fair is fair. Bobby Jindall is NOT qualified to br president of the United States. He is a NATIVE born citizen but since his parents were NOT American Citizens he is not a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. I like the guy but he is disqualified same as OBAMA. Most recently defined in a resolution co-sponsored by by Obama himself!! Senate resolution 511 (http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=sr110-511)
Unless both of your parents a US citizens you are NOT a natural born citizen."
"DE VATTLE!! DE VATTLE!!!"
"SueK May 07, 2011 at 9:39AM
"Piyush Jindal was born at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, a natural-born U.S. citizen, who like every other child born in America, could, constitutionally, grow up to be president."
WRONG!
A Natural Born Citizen is defined as a child born in the country to TWO citizen parents.
As much as I like Jindal he, like the squatter in the White House, does not qualify for POTUS as his parents were not U.S. citizens at the time of his birth. Obama's father was a Kenyan and never an American citizen, so he does not (and never did) qualify.
Looks like a lot of people flunked Civics 101 in grade school. "
Yes, a lot of people did flunk Civics 101. They're called "birthers".
"njattack May 08, 2011 at 8:37PM
Indian Jindal will always be a FOREIGNER. His parents should not even have been allowed into the US. US laws are made OF, BY and FOR the American people. Since 1965 foreigners entering the US do so under Kennedy's immigration law which is NOT of, by or for the American people. It is against the American people.
Only a complete fool would vote for this Indian foreigner."
Racist much??
6 May - Dr. Kate crossposts from "The Birthers"
"The real question about Barack Obama is not where he was born, because we may never know for certain unless Hawaii opens its records up for public inspection and forensic tests. "
Paranoid much?
"The real question we as a nation need to ask and have answered is can a person born with dual citizenship be by definition a natural born citizen."
Under US law, yes, they are considered as such.
6 May - CEL3 gives his post-game analysis on Kreep and Dr. Orly's day in appeals court.
"With more than a little curiosity I tuned in to watch Orly Taitz & Gary Kreep “do their best” before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on May 2, 2011, in Pasadena."
You like legal train wrecks?? Or wanted to know how Dr. Orly did when you're not writing her briefs??
"The arguments of counsel disappointed but did not surprise me. What disappointed me most was that neither Gary nor Orly gave even a single reason which would have convinced me (if I were still an extern working on the case for one of the Judges) why the Court of Appeals should have granted the Plaintiff’s motion to reverse Judge Carter "
Well, most of Kreep's arguments boiled down to "we need to get the uppity darkie out of the White House" and Dr. Orly's boiled down to "Wahh! Judge Carter was MEAN to me! (Oh, and we need to get the uppity darkie out of the White House)"
"I still believe that Judge Carter was initially very favorably disposed to the case and very willing to tolerate Orly’s psychologically unfathomable behavior in and relating to Court. Or at least I believe that Judge Carter was favorably disposed while I was working with Orly to temper her madness—before and until Orly backed Carter into a corner and forced him to clarify his original order of dismissal was WITH prejudice."
So Lincoln is acknowledging that Dr. Orly is crazy. Good to know.
"I told Orly—and she didn’t care or didn’t listen—or her “orders” were that she not listen. And so she ranted and raved that Judge Carter was a traitor and that some pimply-faced fresh lawclerk from Perkins Coie was an Obot planted by the President of the United States in Judge Carter’s Court to give the Judge instructions and orders on what to do and how to do it."
So in all the time CEL3 was sticking it in the crazy, he failed to notice that Dr. Orly can't accept advice from ANYONE???
"It was a pleasant place where I spent five-and-a-half-to-six of the most pleasant months of my recent life, only five-and-a-half-to-six weeks of which were spent in the professional and personal company of Orly Taitz. What can I say—I kind of wish she had stayed and been a sane person, but then she just wouldn’t be Orly I guess. "
No, she wouldn't be. But I'd rather see a sane Dr. Taitz, DDS, than the nitrous queen.
6 May - Polland/Polarik has a new video. As is usual, comments are disabled.
"Say, "Hello" to the FAKED "security paper" on Obama's BC's
You've seen this green thatched paper on Obama's latest forgery (the "long-form") BUT, you've also seen it first used on Obama's original forgery (the "short-form" COLB).
Now, this is how it was FABRICATED - take that, Fukino!!!!"
He does know that Dr. Fukino doesn't work for the State of Hawaii Department of Health anymore, right?
Anyway, the video is pretty much his current obsession about the tint of the security paper.
6 May - Get the feeling Dr. Kate has.....problems.....with anyone of a different skin colour than hers??
"I was wondering who was going to be the first ineligible republican to throw out his birth certificate under the cover of Soetoro/Obama, and sure enough the most ineligible of them all did so-Bobby Jindal, Governor of Louisiana."
I was wondering how many birthers would start to throw Jindal under the bus, even though he's been nominally on their side.
"At birth Jindal had dual allegiance: was a citizen of India and the United States because his parents were not American citizens at his birth. Birth on U.S. soil entitled him to Fourteenth Amendment citizenship. Thus the status of his citizenship at birth was alienable and divided. He may be a great American citizen and patriot, but can never be a natural born citizen, and thus can never ‘grow up to be the President of the United States’."
US Law and the US Constitution does not state anyone as simply a "Fourteenth Amendment citizen". If you are a citizen at birth, then by law you are a "natural born" US citizen.
The only people who comment on "Fourteenth Amendment citizens" are usually racist groups and websites like "Stormfront". Oh, and birther sites too.
Dr. Kate throws in this charming picture and caption.
Klassy with a K(KK)
"The Rove bastardization is to manipulate an obviously ineligible candidate to throw out his birth certificate (read: focus on birth place); to have that candidate be a person of color and immigrant (read: race card opportunities)"
And yet it's funny that you keep providing reasons WHY others note the racism aspects of birtherism.
And then there's the comments:
"thinkwell
May 7, 2011 at 11:11 am
...The Presidency holds a unique place among the three branches of government (executive — legislative — judicial) in that a single individual is entrusted with discretionary power over all our nation’s military might. We the People have a right to require that such a position of awesome trust and power be only given over to one of our very own, one who is most naturally inclined to have the nation’s best interest at heart — a 100 percent, red-blooded all-American.
Blood and Dirt
A natural born Citizen is one born to citizen parents and upon native soil. Only when one is born pure of native blood and dirt does exclusive citizenship flow naturally."
And where have we heard "Blood and Soil" (Blut und Boden) before??
"That our once great nation would ever let such a man become its Commander-in-Chief is a disgrace to us all. May we have the courage not to grant this fraud the legitimacy of a full term and have the resolve not only to remove him, but serve him with the full and fair course of justice that his crime demands. "
O RLY???

Well there IS no 14th amendment jus soli citizenship."
Funny, but the 14th Amendment states all persons born in the United States.
Reading comprehension - FAIL.
Look at the facts:
"CRA1866 makes clear if you’re born in-country with any foreign allegiances, you’re not a US Citizen.
Bobby fails, not a US Citizen at all!""
This kinda smacks of "how dare this wog presume to act like they're a REAL citizen!!", doesn't it???
6 May - The Daily Beast comments on the Trump backlash.
"There are signs over the last two weeks that news organizations, undoubtedly conscious of the polls, are starting to step up their scrutiny of the Trump phenomenon. The Washington Post reported that the recently minted Republican has given 54 percent of his donations to Democrats, including Harry Reid, Rahm Emanuel, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, and Hillary Clinton. The cable station NY1 reported that Trump didn’t vote in primary elections for 21 years. And after he claimed a high draft lottery number kept him out of Vietnam, the Smoking Gun website reported that Trump received a series of student deferments in college and a medical deferment after graduation.
Can the real-estate impresario dig out of this hole? Asked what advice he would offer Trump, Democratic consultant Doug Hattaway says: “A smart strategy would be to pivot toward substance, because right now you’re obviously not going to be taken seriously. Once you’ve been ridiculed and laid low, it’s hard to scramble back… Right now you’re just a vanity candidate. Right now you’re a sideshow, and you’re going to stay a sideshow. You’ll continue to get headlines, but not the kind of headlines you want if you are in fact a serious candidate.”"
7 May - Colin Powell comments on the birtherstani and Obama's long form release.
"But the former secretary of state and Joint Chiefs chairman told South Carolina State University's 400 graduates on Friday that he particularly enjoyed another recent event: "That was when President Obama took out his birth certificate and blew away Donald Trump and all the birthers!"
The stadium roared in approval of Powell's comments on the president's move last week to quell the doubts of those who don't believe he was born in Hawaii. The retired Army four-star general endorsed Obama's 2008 presidential bid."
8 May - In one of the most ironic titles the Pest and eFail have ever used, namely "Why Do People Refuse to Admit the Truth", "One Pissed-off Vietnam Vet" projects more than a 4 screen drive-in during dollar night.
"Ever wonder where some people come up with really off-the-wall ideas? "
I've been wondering that since I first started to write about the "Cult of the COLB" in summer of 2008.
"For instance, there’s a website that only “debunks birthers,” believe it or not."
Actually there's quite a few. You might want to check them out.
"Now these people are really out there"
Not as much as, oh say, the birtherstani.
"if Obama himself came out and declared himself to be Kenyan-born and an illegal immigrant, and thus not a citizen of the U.S. and, consequently, not eligible to hold the office of president, they wouldn’t believe him and would, no doubt, call Obama a liar, a con artist, and one heck of a big disappointment."
No, if there was credible evidence that Obama was ineligible to hold the office of President, I would want the proper procedure to be followed of the removal of Obama and the elevation of Joseph Biden. I wouldn't be calling for military coups, armed rebellion, or the nullification of the 2008 election.
"It’s one thing to believe in something, or someone, but when the facts speak otherwise, eventually one must face up to the truth."
The ironic thing is that this line is being written by a birther.
"Take, as an example, the comedy of the fake birth certificate of Obama. By now everyone has read and, hopefully, understood the mountains of evidence proving, without any doubt whatsoever, that the White House has dumped fakes on the public."
*Chuckle* So "One Pissed-off Vietnam Vet" talks about how people must face up to the truth, and then in the very next paragraph starts to spew another birther pack of lies.
Irony much?
"But no, there are thousands who are so convinced that Obama was born in Hawaii that any evidence to the contrary sways them not. “Don’t bother me with the facts; I’ve already made up my mind.”
The problem with this statement is that the debunkers have the facts on their side, and it's the birthers going “Don’t bother me with the facts; I’ve already made up my mind.”.
Again, Irony much?
"The point is, some people, no matter what the truth, will continue to go merrily along and the heck with the consequences. However, believing that Islam is a religion and not a political philosophy akin to Totalitarianism is a very dangerous error that could very well get your family beheaded."
Racist much??
"I suspect, many websites and blogs are run by either stupid people, or Muslims, who will gladly sacrifice your, and your family’s, lives."
So any debunking site, according to him, is ran by either stupid people or Muslims.
What a paranoid world he must live in.
8 May - Over at Dr. Orly's House o' Malware (malware and redirect warning)
"FROM SUPPORTER KARYL BUSWELL. IF THE GOVERNMENT AND JUDICIARY AND CONGRESS ARE PROVIDING COVER FOR OBAMA, WHAT CAN THE CITIZENS DO? IS REVOLT THE ONLY ANSWER?
Posted on | May 8, 201"
Well, the birthers already ARE revolting, but I suspect she means in the "armed uprising, overthrow the legitimate government" sense.
The funny thing is the letter Dr. Orly publishes doesn't mention "revolt". What it does say is:
"If the courts won’t deal with it and continue to run cover for Obama, and the congress doesn’t have the guts to act on this social security fraud, what is left that can be done to resolve this issue and ultimately have him removed from office? It just seems – I don’t want to say hopeless, but it just seems impossible to get anything resolved in this matter."
And in comments, the original writer states:
"Karyl Buswell
May 8th, 2011 @ 6:20 pm
Please understand that I was in no way advocating any sort of “revolt” (not my word at all) or any violence. "
(snip)
"I do not advocate any sort of violence – we must make changes in a peaceful way at the polls with our votes. I am a firm believer in making your voices heard at the voting booth. "
So it was Dr. Orly who used the word "revolt", not the writer.
Somehow this doesn't surprise me.
8 May - Just in case you had hopes that Joseph Farah might actually come to accept reality....
"Beginning today in WND – and extending throughout the week – we will be presenting what I believe is compelling new evidence that Obama is not only ineligible to be president, but that the document released by the White House is fraudulent."
Translation - He still thinks there's money to had from the birthers, and he doesn't want to keep his promise to donate $15,000 to the hospital Obama was born in.
"Today WND presents what I believe is the most compelling case I have seen that the birth certificate released by the president himself was created by a person or persons who also created at least one other intentionally fraudulent birth certificate.
Why would the right-hand margin of Obama's official Hawaii birth certificate include the very same tell-tale scribblings found in a clearly fraudulent document posted on the Internet about a year ago – a document that alleged he was born in Kenya?"
Because many birth certificates of that time period have very similar markings used in noting statistical information? Look at the Nordyke certificates for example.
"That shocking idea is being validated by a private detective in Hawaii who says he was told by a source in the state health department that employees in that office cooked up a total of three – one saying the birth took place in Kenya, another saying it took place at the Queens Medical Center and a third saying it took place at Kapiolani (like the one Obama showed the world recently)."
More anonymous "sources"??
"In other words, I have moved from believing Obama has something to hide to believing what he has to hide is the fact that he is just plain constitutionally ineligible to be president."
Oh, what a surprise.
"There's much more coming – including the release of the book that forced Obama's hand, Jerome Corsi's "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President."
Now dropped to #117 on Amazon's bestsellers rank.
"Media interested in interviewing Jerome Corsi beginning next Tuesday when his book is officially released"
"Please pay attention to us!!"
8 May - Dr. Kate has gone from claiming the picture of Obama watching the strike on bin Laden's compound showed the "coup" against Obama, to claiming the people in said picture are guilty of war crimes, to now claiming the picture is a photoshop job.
"Obama, in the golf shirt, is clearly photo-shopped into the picture in a very unflattering pose and in a side chair, not the CIC chair. Where’s Panetta?
Suddenly after questions of this photograph emerged, the White House released this video of Obama fully dressed, in the ‘after party’ for the “Bin Ladin kill” (h/t Army DAV). He can be seen here wandering, thanking the ‘national security team’, but not really a part of the action. Was he not in the situation room and that is why he had to be photo-shopped in to the first photo?"
She really can't handle the idea that Obama authorized the raid that took out bin Laden, can she??

Remember the fable-the boy who cried wolf? it’s coming here to your nearest neighborhood very very soon—and barry cried wolf for the last time–its coming down on him…i can’t believe for 1 iota that the USA will be completely destroyed–where will the elite go? see the USnavy map—-this is all bull and our military has to arrest him now. our military knows this is all false flag ops and they are the only ones that can arrest him and his criminal thugs.

"We are in for the ride of lives. Thank-you Terry Lakin and all fellow patriots. What a time to be alive and witness to some of the most powerful upcoming events in out nation’s history. Best of luck to everyone and pray for the safety of all our families, for this almost unbelievable scenario is now about to unfold."
"About to unfold", eh??
9 May - Talking Points Memo Muckracker points out that Trump may have....problems....with "the blacks".
"A former contestant on The Apprentice, whose harsh treatment by Donald Trump drew accusations of racism in 2004, suggested to TPM on Monday that the billionaire Republican businessman's attacks on President Obama's academic record are reflective of Trump's hang-ups over race.
"Apparently he doesn't like educated African-Americans very much," Kevin Allen, a final four contestant on the series' second season, said with a laugh when asked about Trump's recent attacks on Obama. His words contrast with Trump's claim Monday on FOX News that The Apprentice's treatment of African-American contestants in recent seasons confirms that he is "the least racist person there is."
Allen, a Wharton Business School grad, Emory MBA, and University of Chicago law graduate, was "fired" from the show after Trump criticized his "unbelievable education," and numerous degrees from elite universities."
9 May - Mother Jones comments on the attempts to claim the long form is also a fake.
"Anyway, it's not really worth sorting through this story, but the main takeaway is that the fake birth certificates originally embraced by birthers were actually planted by the Obama crew to undermine the birthers' investigations—and to set up the context for the release of the real (but still fake) birth certificate put out by the White House late last month. Is your head spinning? Suffice to say, the hard-core birthers aren't going away anytime soon."
9 May - Lame Cherry is just as vile as usual.
"There really has to be a more concise, evolved and abysmal term for a low self esteem little girl who wants to get dirtied up as it makes her lily wet when she spread of dark skinned males and brings tan bastard into this world to destroy America......as she never had what it took to be an American..............but fit right in, in Indonesia.
This is the saga of Stanley Ann Dunham has the cancer her Chicago man, B. Hussein Obama metastasizes in thee worst of possible elephant man deformations."
Ugh. Utterly sickening. No wonder Dr. Kate adores Lame Cherry.
9 May - The Redding Record Searchlight comments on the hydra that is birther conspiracies.
"In the 1820s, during the presidency of Andrew Jackson, a Democratic senator observed: "The large masses act in politics much as they do in religion. Every doctrine is with them, more or less, a matter of faith; received, principally, on account of their trust in the apostle." This is as true today as it was 200 years ago, but today the apostle is too often a web site such as the right-wing WorldNetDaily.com, which has been the nidus of many of the misleading claims about President Obama.
The birther accusations are hydra-headed because they are not just about where President Obama was born. They have metastasized into a host of claims that, if believed, would lessen him in the eyes of the public and therefore reduce his effectiveness as president: He has a Kenyan birth certificate; he is a Muslim; he took the oath of office on a Koran; he got poor grades at Occidental College but got into Columbia University anyway; he got poor grades at Columbia but got into Harvard anyway; he got into Harvard Law School with the help of a Saudi prince and the Nation of Islam."
9 May - Nice to see that birtherstani aren't the only ones prone to weird conspiracy theories.
"This Orly Taitz, may have dual Israeli-U.S. citizenship, but believe me, she is no American (racist or otherwise). She, like her friend Lieberman, grew up together in Chisinau, capital of Moldava, formerly a part of the U.S.S.R.. They have no experience with multi-ethnic democracy, civil rights, or the principles of governance laid down by our founding fathers.
Even more disturbing is the fact that Americans have no paradigm, by which to assess Dr. Taitz and her handlers. In trying to peg her in light of American historical experience, one angry critic accused her of being "racist, trailer-trash." It was an offensive comment to be sure. But, it was also wrong. Dr. Taitz is a highly educated woman, who speaks six languages fluently. She saw an opportunity to get limitless media attention in order to present her corrosive birther message to the American public, by using the fake "ditzy blond routine." This is because Americans understand lunatics and bimbos. What they don't understand, because they have thankfully never had to experience such, is the East European world of militarism, political paranoia, vengeance and ethnic cleansing. Lieberman has gone on the record saying that "minorities are the biggest problem in the world." Taitz refused even to sit in a car sent by MSNBC for an interview, because it was driven by a dark-skinned man, whom she thought was a Muslim.
How an East European woman, speaking heavily-accented English, could lead a movement of U.S. super-patriots, trying to de-legitimize the first black President of the U.S. says a great deal about the irrationality of American racists. It also speaks to the moral cowardice of the seventeen Republican politicians in Congress, who have supported the birther movement. They have shown themselves willing to take up any banner, even a foreign-manufactured one, if it might win them more votes."
9 May - In World Nut Daily, Joseph Farah's latest breathless excited claim is that the "U.S. always questioned Obama citizenship"
Always is a rather long time mind you. So lets look at the article:
"The first official citizenship inquiry dates back to 1966 when he was just 5 years old – when Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, was attempting to get a waiver so her second husband, Indonesian citizen Lolo Soetoro, could return after his visa expired."
And what did they find??'
"Ultimately, the U.S. determined Obama was a citizen due to his birth in Hawaii."
Which doesn't stop Farah from pimping the Indonesian citizenship myth:
"But that was before the child moved in 1967 to Indonesia with his mother and Soetoro, who, according to Maya Soetoro, Obama's half-sister, adopted the child. Hawaii has no record of that adoption, which would have resulted in an amended birth certificate."
And, under both US and Indonesian law, wouldn't have resulted in loss of US citizenship or gaining Indonesian citizenship either.
"WND has not been able to find any adoption records in Hawaii. This is significant because adoption changes everything. If the adoption took place, it should have resulted in an amended or completely new birth certificate. That change is not noted in the document released by the White House."
The birthers have been looking for those adoption papers for almost three years now. The fact they haven't been found may suggest that no adoption took place.
"All of this before Jerome Corsi's best-selling book, "Where's the Birth Certificate: The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President," even hits retail outlets across the country next week."
"Please, buy our book before it goes on the remainder shelf" And as for "best seliing", it's down to #144 on Amazon's list.
What's funny about this article is, even though Farah claims the US "always" questioned Obama's citizenship, there was *one* inquiry in 1966 that determined Obama was a US citizen. "Once" doesn't equal "always", unless you're dealing with birther logic.
9 May - The Pest and eFail finds another "expert" to claim the long form is a forgery.
"The Post & Email was able to reach Mr. James Colby, who recently performed an analysis aired on a Colorado television station of the image released on April 27, 2011 by the White House purported to be a certified copy of Obama’s long-form birth certificate from Hawaii."
That's nice, who or what is a James Colby?
"MRS. RONDEAU: How long have you been involved in work with documents?
MR. COLBY: I’ve been doing graphic arts since 2004 using Version 5 of Adobe Creative Suite, but I’m also a programmer."
So someone who's got about six years of experience, and who codes. Not what I would call a forensic or document specialist.
And Creative Suite is a set of applications. One could have spent six years making PDF forms with Acrobat Pro and claim experience with "Adobe Creative Suite".
I don't consider myself a "graphics artist" per se, though I do know my way around photoshop. Maybe due to the fact I started with Aldus Freehand in 1988 and Adobe Illustrator in 1990, started dabbling in Photoshop in 1993, and have been doing PDF creation since 1994. And I still use most of these programmes every week or so as part of my job.
Colour me unimpressed by his credentials.
"I’m a LAMP developer with a specialty in dynamic graphics."
LAMP is a Linux software bundle made up of Apache web server, MySQL database, and Perl/PHP/Python scripting software. What he's saying is he's had experience scripting web and database servers.
"I’ve developed quite a few notable online graphics programs myself, from scratch, including a GD image editor, a 3D dynamic graphing generator, a system to develop the entire graphic profile of a site dynamically."
That's nice, so you're a coder or scripter. What's your forensic experience again??
"I’m a little bit more than a graphic artist; I’m an internet engineer."
So what's an "Internet Engineer"???
"A person responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the public Web site, intranet and associated LANs and WANs. May be involved in developing transaction-based applications for e-commerce."
You know, that description is only part of my day-to-day mundane job. Wow, I guess I could claim to be an "Internet Engineer" as well!
9 May - World Nut Daily continues their "reporting" of the single time the US government asked for Obama's citizenship status.
"The U.S. government is on record questioning President Obama's citizenship status as early as when he was 5 years old, stating it lacked documentation to determine his citizenship, WND has learned.
The citizenship inquiry dated back to 1966, when Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, was attempting to secure a waiver so her second husband, Indonesian citizen Lolo Soetoro, could return to the country after his visa had expired."
Note they give the age as "five". Which means under Indonesian law at the time, Obama would have been too old to be granted Indonesian citizenship even if an adoption took place AND if US citizenship could have been renounced (which it cannot if the citizen is a minor)
"One critical exchange is dated August 21, 1967, from Sam Benson, an officer at the Southwest Immigration and Naturalization Service office in San Pedro, Calif.
Benson's query stated, "There is nothing in the file to document the status of the spouse's son. Please inquire into his citizenship and residence status and determine whether or not he is the applicant's child within the meaning of Section 101(b)(1)(B) of the Act, who may suffer exceptional hardship within the meaning of Section 212(a)."
The reference is to the Immigration and Naturalization Act, which defined a "child" as an unmarried person under 21 years of age who, among other qualifiers, could be a "stepchild," whether or not born out of wedlock, provided the child had not reached the "age of eighteen years at the time the marriage creating the status of stepchild occurred."
And the result?
"A response to Benson's inquiry came from one "W.L. Mix" of the central immigration office, who determined Obama was a U.S. citizen.
Mix replied: "Pursuant to inquiry from central office regarding the status of the applicants' spouse's child by a former marriage."
"The person in question is a United States citizen by virtue of his birth in Honolulu, Hawaii, Aug. 4, 1961. He is living with the applicants' spouse in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is considered the applicant's step-child, within the meaning of Sec. 101(b)(1)(B), of the act, by virtue of the marriage of the applicant to the child's mother on March 5, 1965."
So, one request, that determined that Obama was born in Hawaii and was a US citizen.
9 May - Which doesn't stop World Nut Daily from trying to pimp the Indonesian Citizenship myth. Berg must be wetting his pants in glee.
"Evidence continues to mount that President Obama was adopted by his Indonesian stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, raising concerns over his presidential eligibility."
Well, so far the only evidence of any adoption has been a single school record (which also gives the birthplace as "Honolulu".)
"Obama's American mother, Ann Dunham, separated from her first husband, Barack Obama Sr., in 1963 when the president was 2 years old. Dunham and Obama Sr. are reported to have later divorced.
In Hawaii, Dunham married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian, in 1965 and moved to Indonesia in October 1967.
Divorce documents filed in Hawaii on Aug. 20, 1980, refer to Obama as the "child" of both Soetoro and Dunham, indicating a possible adoption in the U.S."
Stanley Ann Dunham was one of the "parties" in that divorce. Therefore the reference to "children" would refer to the children in said marriage, namely one child from a previous marriage and one within said marriage.
*Yawn* Haven't we seen all this stuff before?? And hasn't it been DEBUNKED for years now??
Farah must be scraping the bottom of the birther barrel trying to find some moldy oldie for people to believe.
"The documents identify the minor as Obama's stepsister, Maya Soetoro."
Maya Soetoro-Ng is Obama's *half-sister*, due to their having the same mother, NOT step-sister. Just another example of World Nut Daily's regard for facts.
"The divorce records do not state whether Obama was adopted in Hawaii by his stepfather.
WND did not find any adoption records for Obama in Hawaii."
Yeah, funny how people have been looking for a long time and not finding them.
"The exact timeline is crucial because if Soetoro adopted Obama at age 5 or younger, then Obama would automatically have become an Indonesian citizen according to the country's laws in the 1960s. Indonesian law at the time stipulated any child aged 5 or younger adopted by an Indonesian father is immediately granted Indonesian citizenship upon completion of the adoption process.
Lolo Soetoro could have adopted Obama in Hawaii, although such an adoption would not have necessarily been recognized by Indonesia, and no records of such an adoption have emerged.
Indonesian law at the time also did not recognize dual citizenship, meaning if Obama became Indonesian, then as far as that country was concerned, his U.S. citizenship was no longer recognized by Indonesia. But U.S. law would still recognize Obama as an American citizen."
Wow, they actually acknowledge that under US law, Obama could NOT have lost his US citizenship even if an adoption took place. Berg's gonna have a mad at them for that one.
Oh, and since World Nut Daily is now linking to Facebook for comments, look at this one:
Michael LaBombard, you're the next winner of today's Visit From The Secret Service!!!
9 May - Today was the last day in Texas that a House Bill can be voted out of committee. And it doesn't look like that state's birther bill, HB 529, made it out of committee.
10 May - Disgruntled PUMA turned birther Joan Swirsky claims that Trump is already President. And the Post and eFail prints it all up.
"Those buzzing gnats – most of them surrogates for Obama – were easy-to-dismiss distractions to the mogul Trump. And when Trump followed up the birth-certificate subject by asking the exquisitely logical question that every parent with a teenager applying to college wonders – how could a not-too-bright student with so-so grades get into not one but two Ivy League schools – leftists became apoplectic, invoking, ala newsman Bob Schieffer, the main weapon they carry in their arsenal of projected character flaws: Racism!"
Well, when Trump played the affirmative action card, it's not surprising that some people might think it a bit racist.
"On Saturday, April 16, at the precise moment that Trump was giving a televised speech to a huge Tea Party crowd in Boca Raton, FL, guess who broke into that broadcast to announce his intention to release the real true authentic irrefutable can’t-be-argued-with version of his birth certificate on the Internet?"
Because it's all about Trump and his hurt little feelings, right?
"Clearly the Obama team had decided to abandon the first hoax of a birth and to release the colossal hoax and amateurish forgery of a second version, which has now been examined by forensic document examiners, critical thinkers, and those who prefer empiricism over hype."
The funny thing about this is she then links to these supposed "examiners, critical thinkers and lovers of empiricism". Namely:
The Pest and eFail
World Nut Daily
Miss Tickly
A YouTube video by one "Albert Renshaw"
James Colby's "analysis" (which she links to a second time as well)
Birther Report
An anti-media and conspiracy site she calls "leftist", but shows videos on things like the "NWO" and the like.
And last, the Pest and eFail's article on what Polland/Polarik said about it.
So a bunch of unqualified hacks, conspiracy nuts, outright racists, and seditionists. And to underscore it, guess who shows up next??
"Why Release an Obvious Fake? blogger Dr. Kate asked her readers. “Why would [his handlers] expose Obama to such an obviously sloppy job of a faked document unless they wanted him and his network to go down? [Is this] clearing the way for [Hillary] Clinton?”
Yes, she cites open racist and conspiracy nutjob Dr. Kate as well!
"Erick Erickson of www.redstate.com even joked about it: “As a friend noted on Facebook, Obama’s popularity is falling so fast that Kenyans are now claiming Obama was born in the United States!”
Gallup poll as of 10 May 2011
Obama - 51%
GW Bush - 66%
Clinton - 51%
GHW Bush - 77%
Reagan - 43%
Carter - 32%
Some "fall".
"Trump was also skeptical about the second version of the birth certificate, which further fueled his popularity but seemed to plunge Obama’s ratings more deeply into the abyss – although other things contributed to those downwardly-plunging Rasmussen graphs"
As of 10 May 2011, Rassussen has Obama with a 50% approval rating, with 26% "Strongly Approve"
"Haven’t you wondered why all 435 members of the U.S. Congress and all 100 members of the U.S. Senate have avoided this subject like it was the Ebola virus, and why the Supreme Court has rejected over a dozen lawsuits on this issue from seasoned attorneys deeply versed in Constitutional law?"
Because the only people buying it are a bunch of racist conspiracy nuts who refuse to accept any evidence that goes against their pet theory??
As for "seasoned attorneys deeply versed in Constitutional law", the birther attorneys consist of a 9/11 truther and disgruntled PUMA, a dentist with a law degree from an on-line law school, a semi-professional poker player who claims to be an avatar of God, a retired attorney with a history of far-right causes, a DUI attorney, an attorney with a history of far-right cases and losses, and a religious attorney also with a history of losing cases. None of them have a decent grounding in Constitution law or history.
"While Trump was asking questions and swatting critics, his momentum was gaining. So much so that Obama seemed to be developing an unhealthy obsession with the man. Or, as he would snarkily call Trump, the “carnival barker.” So obsessed, in fact, that the goons who do his bidding at the company he has a hefty share in, Facebook, are now trying to convince Indianapolis 500 officials to dump him as their pace car driver in the this month’s race"
"Quite possible, actually, when you consider that quickly on the heels of the birth-certificate brouhaha came three threats that Team Obama wanted to make disappear."
And these are:
"The first was described by Pamela Geller, author with Robert Spencer of The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s War on America, in an article entitled “An illegitimate child, an illegitimate president.”
Oh yes, Geller's theory that a child born out of wedlock somehow has different citizenship than a child born in wedlock. Pity for her that US law and the US Constitution doesn't agree.
"The second took place on May 2nd in Pasadena, CA, and involved arguments in the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals by lawyer Orly Taitz and Gary Kreep of the U.S. Justice Foundation, who were granted a chance to challenge the dismissal of their separate cases by a Santa Ana federal judge two years ago"
Which seems to have been a fail.
"The greatest and most immediate threat, however, is a book due out May 17th by Jerome Corsi, the same man who co-wrote the book, Unfit for Command – Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry, which completely and deservedly derailed Sen. Kerry’s run for the presidency.
But this time Dr. Corsi has writtenWhere’s the Birth Certificate? The Case that Barack Obama is not Eligible to be President, which has already shot to #1 on several prominent bestseller lists."
And is now down to #144 on those same lists.
"Aha! What a perfect time for a WE INTERRUPT THIS PROGRAM announcement! But they didn’t make the announcement last August when they ostensibly got the news, and not in any of the months that followed, and not last week or on Saturday or on Sunday morning or afternoon. Instead Obama picked Sunday night, just in time to cut in on guess whose hit television show? Can’t make this up! (Is this called stalking?)"
No, it's called "being the President". Contrary to what you might think, it's not all about the tribble mobility scooter.
"All we have are the conflicting reports of a regime that has become famous for its egregious lack of transparency and bald-faced lies, lies that are chillingly documented in Jack Cashill’s can’t-put-down book, Deconstructing Obama."
Don't you love how the birthers always seem to cite other birthers as sources??
"And here is the latest from the John Batchelor radio show. His guest, Larry Johnson of No Quarter, said Bin Laden was killed in Pakistan but his body was not taken onboard the USS Carl Vincent and dumped into the sea. Rather he was flown to Bagram AFB in Afghanistan for DNA testing and then his body was dumped from a plane somewhere over the Hindu Kush mountain range that stretches between central Afghanistan and northern Pakistan."
I think "Flowbee" Johnson of the formerly-sane "No Quarter" lost his credibility when he went full-tilt PUMA in 2008
"Especially when the esteemed Andrew Bostom writes that an article in The Washington Times by Anneke Green reports that the elaborate burial ceremony for bin Laden included prayers that cursed both Christians and Jews."
Funny that the article linked to says no such thing, isn't it??
"Come to think of it, what is it about Obama and dumping people’s remains in the ocean? On October 24, 2008, 11 days before the election, Obama arrived alone on a night flight to Honolulu, where his “typical white person” maternal grandmother was reported by the Obamamedia to be gravely ill, but not quite ill enough for Michelle and the granddaughters to make the trip. What was going through Obama’s mind? How could he possibly know that his ‘beloved’ grandmother would die the day before the election? What secrets about Obama’s ‘father’ did she take with her to her grave? Madalyn Dunham died ‘suddenly’ of previously-unannounced `terminal cancer’ while convalescing from a broken hip in her bungalow one day before the U.S. general election in Nov. 2008. Her remains were cremated – against her written wishes – within 12 hours after death. Mmmmm….does anyone else but me smell a rat?"
Oh Gods, not that long-since debunked PUMA claim!!
The entire article reads like Joan Swirsky ate just about everything she and others ever wrote about Obama, and then vomited the results into her word processor. It's not journalism, but rather a frittata of PUMA and birthers myths and lies, all served up steaming for the birtherstani to feast upon.
10 May - Public Policy Polling releases the result of a 5 May to 8 May poll that shows Trump's brand in the GOP may be showing quite a bit of tarnish.
(PDF here)
"In April, PPP found Trump with sole possession of the lead for Republican voters’ preferences for the nomination. He topped Mike Huckabee 26-17. But now Huckabee is back in a narrow lead with 19% to Mitt Romney’s 18%, Newt Gingrich’s 13%, Sarah Palin’s 12%, Trump’s and Ron Paul’s 8%, Michele Bachmann’s 7%, and Tim Pawlenty’s 5%."
From 26% to 8% in a month. So much it seems for the birthers latest Great White Hope. Though their numbers are dropping a bit as well.
"34% of these voters still do not believe the president was born in this country. But that is down from 51% in the February poll."
Ouch. Surely though Trump has their votes still, right?
"Trump’s advantage with the birthers has eroded even further. Last month, PPP asked a different question—whether Republicans would vote for a candidate who affirmed Obama’s citizenship. But while Trump led 37-13 over Huckabee and Palin with the 23% who then said they would not vote for an avowed non- birther, he now gets no more support among the remaining birthers than he does among the 48% near-majority who believe Obama was born in the country. He pulls 9% with the former and 8% with the latter"
So who's the next Great White Hope for the birthers??
"In fact, it is now Palin and Bachmann who do almost twice as well with birthers as non-birthers."
Oh dear. But what about Romney?
"Romney’s candidacy also runs up against a wall with people who still refuse to acknowledge the president’s birthplace—he leads 22- 19 over Huckabee with non-birthers but is in fourth at 13% with birthers."
Ouch.
10 May - I find it funny that while Dr. Kate, the Pest and eFail, and other birther blogs can play sedition games, dream about seeing Obama in front of a firing squad, and various fantasies about military coups, they get downright pissed when someone shows them the same level of hatred back.
"The following email was received in the Editor’s mailbox today and has been sent to the FBI:
Message:
I find you to be anti-American, and a racist pig. If this was 200 years ago, they would throw your a** in jail for treason against the office of the President of the US, you’d be tried, found guilty, and hung.As an American veteran, and a person proud to have Barack Obama as my President, the first time in 8 years I feel fride in my President, i can only hope that somebody shuts you up permanently. I know we only shot bin Laden twice, so we have plenty of bullets left for people like you.
Name: (redacted)
Email: (redacted)"
Note - death threats are never cool. Never. Don't stoop to their level.
"Editor’s Note: Who is guilty of treason: those who support an ineligible usurper to the office of President whose staff presents forgeries to the people he supposedly serves or those who are working to expose the corruption behind his false occupation of the Oval Office?"
I would say the people spreading lies and falsehoods about a lawfully elected Natural-born citizen, President of the United States. Moreso, those who, in believing those lies and falsehoods, call for armed rebellion, military coups, and unamerican, unconstitutional juntas against said lawfully-elected President.
"The Post & Email cares nothing for race."
Yet it's amazing just how many times racist and bigoted commentary shows up in your articles and in comments, isn't it??
"Are members of the military really willing to take orders from a foreign-born domestic enemy? What does that make them?"
Amazing. She calls the author of said death threat a traitor, and then, without missing a beat, writes this whine that the military hasn't risen up in a coup??
What does it make them?? Americans and patriots who have agreed to risk their lives and sacred honor (a concept Sharon Rondeau knows nothing about) in defense of this country. And who recognize their commander in chief is a civilian who was lawfully elected into the office of President of the United States and refuse to dishonor themselves and their uniform by following paranoid conspiracy theories with no basis in reality.
"Treason complaints against Barack Hussein Obama and his criminal operatives have been filed and gone unaddressed for over two years. What does that signify?"
That the "treason" complaints are unfounded and don't have the slightest amount of legal or factual basis to them?
