At the intersection of bad movies and questionable politics, of horrid acting and insane conspiracies, lie Bad Fiction, the writings and rants of a 40-something screaming moderate with a taste for B movies.
In today's dispatches, the attorneys for Esquire take a shot at Larry Klayman. Tom MacLeran tells the people at CPAC "I HATE YOU!! I HATE YOU SO MUCH!!!! (call me? please?) The Surprise! (AZ) Tea Party comes up with a brand new, can't fail idea - WHINEY LETTERS! Carl Gallups plays the "I have very big important news! Only I can't share it, but trust me, it's VERY BIG NEWS" card again.
For someone who claims I'm posting under a host of names, Noel Lawler / Yoel Lawlor seems to be quite happy to rack up more aliases. Pity the content is a broken record of lies. Judge England tells Dr. Orly in Very Simple Words how she messed up again. Lame Cherry asks "Joseph and Jerome, where art thou?" Rudy Davis is upset at anyone on the right who doesn't want to get the stink of birther on themselves.
Mark Gillar gives the birthers a whole new stupid idea. And we have a Glorious Peoples Victory for Birtherstan, as Linda Jordan only has to cough up a quarter of what she was originally billed!
In today's dispatches, the fun from CPAC continues. With Mike Zullo and Carl Gallups saying they have wonderful news that's super secret and they can't tell anyone yet, sorry.
I know, it's pretty much the same as everything else they say.
But we also have Dr. Orly hob-mobbing with a whole batch of washed-up former politicians, not to mention deciding that she must, must, MUST crash a panel with fellow birther and anti-Islamic bigot Pamela Geller. Hilarity follows. Half-term governor Sarah Palin gives a tip of the hat to the birthers, the birthers wet their pants in response. Joel Pollak at Breitbart gets bent out of shape over being called a birther. More about the racist anti-racism panel at CPAC.
In other news, Dr. Orly gets told "No" by the House of Representatives AND the court. My Taitz fanboi shows with with a new name, new location, same lies. Birther Report goes "old news is FUN!", while complaining at those on the right who aren't QUITE crazy enough to be birthers. Douglas Vogt comes up with new claims that are right up there with his pyramid power and dead sea scroll claims. Dr. Orly goes "old news is FUN!"
Dean Haskins and Marco Ciavolino want your birther bucks to film their planned "Terry Lakin - A Love Story" project. And last but not least, we finally find out what the point was behind Walter Fitzpatrick's "Lane Hudson" calls to various debunkers. Yes, Sharon Rondeau was involved, and yes, the end result is as pathetic as one may think.
Oh, hell with it. I only thought that Dr. Kate, Birther Report, and Lame Cherry were the middens of birtherstan. Sadly in the last 48 hours, I was proven wrong.
"Freedom Outpost" and "Godfather Politics" have just earned my undying contempt and have also contributed to my rapidly falling opinion of the human race as a whole. The commenters on those sites will not be happy until the US Government is overthrown, the Constitution is on fire, and President Obama (plus his entire family) is executed live on TV.
You think I'm joking? Gods I wish I was. This is one of those times I WISH someone was bankrolling me, because quite frankly, those damned sites have made me sick to my stomach.
We also have Lawrence Sellin's first post-election hissy fit, complete with questionable math. Dr. Orly wants Viscount Monckton to join her crazy train. Gabe Zolna is showing himself to be a racist paranoid nut. Dan Lacey comes up with a new painting sure to really piss off Dr. Orly.
The Western Center for "Journalism" seems to have no problems at all with racist commentary. Dr. Orly comes up with Yet Another Lawsuit. And a birthed-related lawsuit in Tampa is amazingly over the top for sheer insanity,
In today's dispatches, Ron Polland/Polarik continues his long slide into insanityland. The SPLC notes the past history of some of the people involved in the Georgia Birther Ballot Jihad. Sarah Palin riles the birthers.
We have the order of dismissal in Sorensen v Kennedy, along with a nastygram Sorensen sent to Kennedy after the dismissal.
Dean Haskins shows some personal courage in daring to point out to his fellow birthers that Dr. Orly is harming their crusade more than helping it, with the predictable response from Dr. Orly. Meanwhile, some of Dr. Orly's allies in California start their own Birther Ballot Jihad, while the other players in the Georgia Birther Ballot Jihad submit a "dance for us boy" motion to the court.
Colour me unimpressed with the attorney for the Georgia Democratic Party. The judge in that case seems to think so too as he denies the defense motion to quash Dr. Orly's subpoenas and Dr. Orly promptly piddles on the carpet and goes complete apedump insane with a pre-hearing "victory lap" that shows her as petty, immature, and just flat out nasty. And those are her good points.
In today's dispatches, the birtherstani play "monkey see, monkey do". Pat Boone plays to the birtherstani. Walter Fitzpatrick seems to have problems with dusky authority figures.
Miki Booth and Dean Haskins can't get their stories straight. Joe Arpaio continues to be the birthers Great White Hope, even when his office is giving mixed signals. John Woodman challenges Paul Irey.
Dr. Orly smoozes with Pat Boone, and spins her Hawaiian cases. Dr. Kate publically and openly calls for an unconstitutional military coup. "One Pissed-Off Vietnam Vet" does an amazing degree of paranoia.
"Raised on Hoecakes" has a message for birthers "stop it, you're giving conservatives a bad name". Joseph Farah and his porn star mustache call upon the Blessed St. Sarah Moosekiller to save us. Rick Santorum manages to seem like the sane and moderate one compared to birtherstani. Andrew Breitbart wants a shooting war. And Corsi has a message for Dr. Orly about Joe Arpaio - which really seems to be "I'll scratch your eyes out if you come near my man, you peroxided bimbo!"
In today's dispatches, we see the strawman approach to de Vattelist arguments. Tracy Dorsey comes up with an "investigative video" about "obots" which seems to result in "laughter" by the people "outed" in said "video".
Robert Bauer goes to work for Obama's re-election campaign, and the result is that the birtherstani again show their ability to put two and two together and come up with avocado. Docket updates in Dr. Orly's FOIA (basically "stop publishing SS numbers you ditz), which Dr. Orly seems to be seeing as a Glorious People's Victory.
Jerome Corsi and Lame Cherry both seem to think that Bauer leaving signals the start of the Return of President Hillary Clinton. Dr. Kate has a contest due to the lack of numbers in birtherstan. And Lawrence Sellin repeats the birther mantra of "....any day now.....any day now....."
1 June - Over at "Canada Free Press", Dean Haskins opines on why "liberals" can't accept the de Vattelist's definition of "Natural born" = "two citizen parents".
"Since the framers used Law of Nations as the blueprint for our Constitution, and they used a term that is found in Law of Nations as part of the law they were penning, and there is no evidence that any other definition for that term existed at the time of the framing, is it not just simple logic to understand that, if they had meant anything other than Vattel’s definition, they would have clearly specified those variances within the mandate? They didn’t; so the only honest conclusion is that Vattel’s definition is precisely what the framers penned into law."
Three problems with this claim:
1) No proof that the framers used de Vattel's "The Law of Nations" as a blueprint for the Constitution. Even if they did, they would be more likely to use the proper definition of such as shown in the original French, rather than the English translation the birthers cling to - the one that's ten years newer than the Constitution.
2) The only time the phrase "laws of nations" is used in the Constitution is in terms of international law and piracy on the high seas. There is no evidence that de Vattel was used as the template for citizenship requirements.
3) If, indeed, "The Law of Nations" was used as the blueprint for the Constitution, we would expect to see articles in the Constitution regarding the right of the state to restrict freedom of Speech (Book 1, § 114), the right to establish a state-controlled religion (Book 1, § 127), the restriction of weapons ownership to the military and nobility (Book 1, § 176), or the right of the state to take private property at need (Book 2, § 81).
Instead we see portions of the Constitution that go directly against these parts of "The Laws of Nations".
"Simplified, this is what liberals would have us believe:
The framers drew heavily from Vattel in writing the Constitution
The framers stated A (without any caveats)
Vattel’s was the only definition of A that existed at the time
A and B are not equivalent
Liberals claim the framers meant B"
Interesting strawman argument here. However, it's more accurate (in this moderate's mind), to go:
There's no proof the framers drew heavily from Vattel in writing the Constitution
There's no proof the framers used the "Natural Born" = "two citizen parents" rule
There were other definitions of "Natural Born Citizen" at the time, including Blackstone, which most of the legally-trained framers would have been more familiar with.
There's significant aspects of the US Constitution that directly contradict de Vattel.
In today's dispatches, "Ulsterman" disappoints the birthers by backpeddling a bit, now claiming it was only a "temporary" military coup. The birtherstani continue to show their ability to drive away family and friends.
The GOP continues to try and get the stink of birther off of them, but with 30% of Republicans polled continuing to insist Obama wasn't born in the US, it's going to be hard road to travel.
Gary Kreep brought Philip Berg along to the Appeals Court, while we now have courtroom audio and video of Kreep and Dr. Orly's performance in the courtroom. And even some birthers have their doubts about Dr. Orly. Donald Trump's likelihood of people voting for him is dropping like a rock.
Dr. Orly tries to do damage control on her court appearance, while demanding the State of Hawaii let HER personal hands and eyes examine Obama's long-form birth certificate. And many birthers are still stomping their little feet and demanding a REAL military coup.
"I have been told by more than one source that Leon Panetta was directing the operation with both his own CIA operatives, as well as direct contacts with military – both entities were reporting to Panetta only at this point, and not the President of the United States. "
Those sources being "Rice Krispies", "Fruit Loops", with military information from "Cap'n Crunch", right??
"The president was then placed in the situation room where several of the players in this event had already been watching the operation unfold. Another interesting tidbit regarding this is that the Vice President was already “up to speed” on the operation. A source indicated they believe Hillary Clinton had personally made certain the Vice President was made aware of that day’s events before the president was."
Riiiiggghhhhttt......
"The now famous photo released shows the particulars of that of that room and its occupants. What that photo does not communicate directly is that the military personnel present in that room during the operation unfolding, deferred to either Hillary Clinton or Robert Gates. The president’s role was minimal, including their acknowledging of his presence in the room."
You know, this touches on a constant with the birthers. Anytime Obama is seen doing ANYTHING Presidential, they have to try and explain it away. While we know their brains can't handle reality, it's a rather spectacular type of delusion they subject themselves to.
"In my initial communication to you of these events I described what unfolded as a temporary Coup initiated by high ranking intelligence and military officials. I stand by that term."
The birthers are going to be disappointed it was only a "temporary" coup.
Seriously though, I think "Ulsterman" realized he overstepped things when he said there was a de facto military coup against Obama. Witness the joyful reaction of seditionists like Sharon Rondeau and Walter Fitzpatrick. He knows that when it finally dawns on people like those two that Obama is still President and there HASN'T been a coup of any type, that even the gullible birthers might reject what he's saying. By saying it was a "temporary coup", he's doing a "cover your ass" maneuver to try and keep the gullible believing his claims.
In today's dispatches, Paul Guthrie aka "Padawan Pauly" writes more of his "Natural Law" blather and not even the birtherstani are willing to accept it, particularly not Mario Apuzzo. Professional Seditionist Sharon Rondeau touts the freedom of speech standard that the Pest and eFail upholds (unless, of course, you happen to support Obama or otherwise disagree with their party line.) Convicted forger and felon Lucas Smith writes a soft-core porn story as a declaration in support of Theresa Cao, which Holy Cao herself submits along with a mass of Sovereign Citizen droppings.
Sedition in the comments of the Pest and eFail? It's WAY more likely than you think. We have advice to reporters interviewing the undead marmosets attached to Donald Trump's skull. Some birthers are realizing Lucas Smith may be less than credible (which of course they blame on Obama.) Joseph Farah admits that World Nut Daily lies though their teeth for their stories. Sher Zieve and Neil Turner form "Seditionists for Trump". Dr. Kate tries to tell the birthers it's aways been about de Vattel, and that they've always been at war with Eastasia.
The Pest and eFail seems to have a flexible viewpoint on "acceptable times to override, bypass, or rewrite the Constitution", while continuing their tradition of whiney letters. One of their favourite seditionists throws Sarah Palin under the bus. April Downs gets released from her torture. And a quick trip to the PUMA litterbox known as PUMAPac results in some major irony.
11 April - Wading though the comments on Padawan Pauly's latest written defecation, I'm finding not even many birthers are willing to believe his tripe.
...Up until DNA identification it was impossible to prove who the father was of all any and all children born in the world. All you had was
1. The mothers word that she was not intimate with another male at the time of conception.
2. Similarities in features between the father and child.
Given that it is expected that a women would lie on this issue for obvious reasons a Natural Born Citizen status could not be conveyed by the status of male."
In an extra-long dispatches (sorry about forgetting to post friday), World Nut Daily goes all Polariky. The birthers get another court loss. Media Matters goes into birther debunking. Pam Barnett continues her courtroom jihad against Damon Dunn for daring to get more votes than Dr. Orly. PolitiFact comments on the Sarah Obama myth - and Ron McRae tries to use Lucas Smith's work to back his claim.
Salon debunks World Nut Daily. Mysterious scars. The sponsor of Arizona's birther bill flies to meet Trump - and is given homework in return. Trump seems to have a birtherstani connection with - drumroll please - World Nut Daily, while he continues to check off a list of which debunked birther talking point to throw out each day. Meanwhile, Trump shows how thin-skinned he is when his birtherism is challenged by things like "facts", "evidence" and "reality".
The Pest and eFail continues their support of sedition and racism. Sen. Rubio tells Trump to knock it off. More bile from Dr. Kate, along with her admiration for Lame Cherry AND threats from her floaters as well. Dr. Orly is annoyed that World Nut Daily called her lies for what they were.
FactCheck finds Trump to be a lying sack of crap with a bad comb-over. Padawan Pauly finds a kindred spirit. Sarah Palin repeats the "$2 Million" claim, which Salon traces back to - World Nut Daily! Walter Fitzpatrick gives legal advice to Theresa Cao. Dr. Chiyome Fukino, in a "don't you people have LIVES??" moment, confirms that, yes indeed, she has seen Obama's "long form" birth certificate, so can't the crazy people shut up?? Miki Booth promply shows Dr. Fukino that no, the crazy people can't shut up.
Philip Berg tells Dr. Orly "you're can't have me dismissed, I'm a plantiff!". The Pest and eFail hopes Arizona goes full-tilt de Vattelist. Hollister is getting grumpy. And "BJ Smartazz's" Thomas video gets booted from YouTube.
7 April - Jack Cashill at World Nut Daily seems to be channeling Polland/Polarik. As his latest claim about Obama shows.
"In his definitive 2010 biography of Barack Obama, "The Bridge," New Yorker editor David Remnick features a photograph of a dapper young Barack Obama sitting between his grandparents on a Central Park bench.
The bench is real. The grandparents are real. The wall behind them is real. Barack Obama is not. He has been conspicuously photoshopped in. Who did this and why remains as much a mystery as Obama's extended stay in New York."
O RLY?
"The irrepressible researcher Orly Taitz secured a document through the National Student Clearinghouse on Obama's Columbia attendance.
The document confirms Obama's graduation from Columbia with a political science degree in 1983, but it places him there only in the 1982-1983 academic year.
"As there is no record of Obama residing anywhere else in the United States from September 1981-September 1982, or attending any other university," Taitz infers, "by way of simple deduction it becomes clear that his visit to Pakistan lasted not a month or two, as he claims, but over a year."
"Securing a visa for this trip in 1981 was apparently possible for an American but not easy. Although Remnick interviews Obama's friends about the Pakistan leg, he gives no accounting of Obama's stay in Indonesia, if, in fact, there was one."
Well, it was easy enough that the New York Times gave instructions on how to do it in a tourism piece in August of that year.
Cashill's piece seems to be based on this 19 March 2011 video on YouTube
By the way, The comments on that video are rather funny. "Amateur photoshop" and "clone tool abuse" are some of the nicest comments about the Obama-less picture.
In today's dispatches, another call for "patriots" to walk like an Egyptian. Seditionist Neil Turner is losing his love for Allen West. Sharon Rondeau has a mad because someone DARED to call her for what she is - an anti-American seditionist fomenting treason. The Senate version of Arizona's birther bill seems to be dead.
We have some polling showing why the GOP continues to play flirty games with the birttherstani. Dr. Orly shows the maturity level of a mean 12 year old. And the court tells Pam Barnett "No, you can't have new judge, not yours".
11 February - At Canada Free Press (funny how these "patriots" always seem to need places like Pravda Online, The European Union Times, and Canada Free Press to back them up), Harry Riley demands that Obama step down - or they'll try a million moron march.
"It’s beyond time for Americans that love our nation, our constitution, republic principles to indeed make a stand…...we should take a lesson from the Egyptian grievance process.
Is the time March 19, 2011, in D.C. or some other date, but America, if we are ever going to throw Obama and his destructive policies, activity, and unconstitutional direction out of power before 2012, we will have to do it like the Egyptians.
That means plan to be in DC for however long it takes to cause Obama to validate his credentials to serve as president; demand the US Congress stop all the spending driving America toward destruction; demand the US Supreme Court investigate and verify Barack Obama in accordance with Article 2, Section 1 of the US Constitution with regard to qualification…..but then again we know his father was a British/Kenya citizen which makes Obama a dual citizen, not of “natural citizen birth” thus ineligible to serve as president. The only way we will ever get the US congress and US Supreme Court to act is field millions of peaceful Americans in Washington, D.C. for as long as it takes. This number would totally bring Washington D.C. to a halt…...a stand-still.
Just like the Egyptian grievance event, no planning beyond a rally point, identifying a date, suggesting signs/placards/banners and show up in Washington D.C. with all intentions to stay there until our demands are satisfied.
When will it be? Some are already working on March 19, 2011, and likely many of us will be there…....the question…can this develop into a “America Demands Truth and Constitutional Accountability” moment??
It will take serious thought and serious patriots…..and remember, March in DC is not warm…...... "
Based on past rallies, they should get a total in the tens, maybe the hundreds.
