There were allegations of voter fraud against Sen. Clinton. Of caucus counts not tallying up, of "Obama zombies" threatening people unless their candidate was chosen.
A batch of PUMAs attended the DNC, tried to raise hell, got upset when Sen. Clinton publicly endorsed Sen. Obama (one PUMA blog even reposted Sen. Clinton's speech with every single line about the need to vote for Sen. Obama cut from their copy.)
Their "support" for Hillary Clinton was such that they would rather ignore everything she said, everything she was claiming to stand for, rather than support Barack Obama. Every right wing lie that was said about him, every right wing conspiracy theory spread about him, they gleefully parroted and repeated.
And then, after the DNC, a batch of them did a road trip to the Republican Convention, where they swooned over Sarah Palin and boasted about how Sen. McCain was going to be the next president.
So why, 8 years later, am I noting this?
